I've casted the slx dc on maybe 3 trips with braid and on all settings with no thumb and no backlash. But that's my only use of a dc reel. Post a pic of your spool. Maybe overfilled?

She's not even playing hard to get, that is all the warning sign you need. The 30 dives quick down to about 5" or so when burnt. You need 1 ? What you throwing your 50 on? Bait store has a black 50 I thought bout getting as my swimbait wake lure. I have a light 2-4 ounce swimbait setup with 25lb big game. Or my 7'6 frog set up hvy fast but 40lb braid?

I just got home from the store of temptation. Added some bull worms and c macs to the pack of v&m I bought a few days ago. These are the only 2 styles of big hooks that was there. I prefer needlepoint but bought trokar til I can substitute. Will these big football head shakey heads be good for these 10 and 11" worms?

New Japanese technique? Reel shotting... Texas reel rig. SOUTH Carolina rig... I can understand how it happens as a creek wading fisherman. Several times I have been in chest deep water and having to hold the rod n reel in my teeth to swim across a deep spot. All part of the fun ?

I'd like the hear about the mojo rig. When and why you would use it and how it compares to a Carolina rig.

Other than the Tim Little/ Matt Allen colored frog is there any other bright chartreuse bellied frogs available? Chartreuse belly outdid the natural brown frog today 2 to 1. Would love to have chartruese In popping frog.

Speaking of frogs, I found these Lake Fork "frog tail hooks" today. This is on a River2Sea abd a Jackall. They look like the cats meow for froggin. I've gotta get few more packs. Monkey says break out the credit card @JediAmoeba
