  1. Tatula sv is a perfect beginner reel, only issue is you won’t get the casting distance like a shimano dc or any other reel .
  2. Their shipping is a known issue …. Last time mine took over a week to even ship and I contacted them, I was told since I used the free shipping that is why and if I would have used the upgraded shipping methods I would have had mine shipped out sooner ! Lost me at that point and the constant issues they have had with many others
  3. Some of the best jigs out there and definitely not a sale pitch …. They are good and why you hear the name often.
  4. The Lews lfs is a proven winner and better than the slx .
  5. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Team_Lews_HyperMag_Speed_Spool_SLP_Casting_Reels/descpage-MAGL.html https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/search-tackle.html?start=0&count=30&searchtext=Hyper+mag
  6. Braid issues are typically operator error , to tight of a drag, line not spooled tight , like lb to low etc and I use 30lb j braid or sufix 832 on all my baitcasters without any issues ever! So 30lb and up is a must .
  7. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Lews_HyperMag_Magnesium_Spinning_Reel/descpage-HMMS.html lews new hypermag spinning can be bought at a steal of a price right now. $134.95 and for that price runs circles around any shimano or daiwa
  8. Skipping rods will have a shorter handle and is a short length rod with a strong back bone as well… needed? Not always but a they have a rod for everything nowadays.
  9. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Shimano_Macbeth_50_Crankbaits/descpage-SMSC.html shimano has these that are 0-1 ft depth.
  10. Unless it’s tw Black Friday deal I don’t bother with them much anymore ! In the last year I’ve had a couple orders take a week just to be shipped and their excuse was Covid and the last time shipping is slow since I used the free shipping option… that was the last straw for me . It makes no difference what option I choose to ship from them to dictate how long it takes them to pack my order up. their prices aren’t that great either and anything new release isn’t in stock typically where other places actually have it ready to buy and ship. they do have alot to offer product wise when it’s in stock I’ll give them that! But they are slowly hurting themselves
  11. Ceramic bearings definitively make a difference! You won’t get a ton of extra distance but the reel will be smoother and easier to cast. Cheap ceramic vs expensive plays a role and there is a difference too! If you crank the spool tension down that will effect any bearing as well and lose distance …. I run all my spools loose and the tensioner so it just takes the side play out and rely on my thumb and brakes .
  12. It will be interesting if these are a flop or not given their price point vs competition at the same price range . Have my eye on the elite ti but not until some decent reviews come out
  13. Belk50 just worked for some slobber knockers and war pigs for me a couple minutes ago! With that code , there’s some really good deals
  14. Discount tackle has the 5 inch jdm colors
  15. Install some carbontex drag washers and be done. Quick google search will point you where to purchase them . I have two of those mach 1 reels/rod setup for hand out for friends to use and both the drag is pretty weak.
  16. It’s not ? fluro but yo zuri hybrid is stretchy
  17. Very much so and a shame most cannot take constructive criticism about this situation. The way I see it , handle a fish properly just as you would any other animal and possibly even your own pets ! Just because “it’s just a fish“ doesn’t mean you shouldn’t show it some respect, especially after shoving a hook through its mouth and yanking it to the boat or bank…..
  18. Almost all companies copy eachother… look at Berkley !
  19. Winn grips are a love or hate thing it seems . I prefer them! Should be interesting how these new rods actually are when they’re available to purchase and get some real word feedback. If they went on sale I’d grab one for sure.
  20. Bps stik-o is very underrated and the next best thing to a Yamamoto senko cotton Cordell , change the hooks are you’re good to go ! Walmart always has them cheap.
  21. The trashmaster is a fantastic jig and more of a compact jig. Been using them for several years now with no issues whatsoever! I’ve been Curious about the 6th sense when I saw it released . The swinging hook I’m don’t think helps much but I could be wrong . It’s nice to have options and I’ll probably pick up a couple to try out
  22. If using braid then a ball bearing swivel isn’t a bad thing and can lessen line twist ! Yes many pros do this and some don’t, personal preference if you ask me. There is no right or wrong
  23. The two hook sexy dawg is easier to use and practically walks itself.
  24. It could be you are use to the zillion and it being more forgiving? Could just be your casting style especially if you are trying to bomb cast lures . Worse case scenario is to return it and get a new one
  25. The new Yamamoto 3 inch Zako is a perfect match . And you get 10 in a pack so it’s cost effective
