  3. They are really the best when it comes to protection, The only down side of them is the weight of them and they are heavy, Thats why I change them to normal plastic once.
  4. Congratulations on new reel. It been so long that I haven't purchase any bass tackle(I am stocked for life ?).
  5. Norman Lures crank baits in any depth and color you looking and they are all you need.
  6. FG at home and crazy Alberto on water, Do it right and you'll never have them break.
  7. I try to understand your setup, Please send a picture if possible. For me I hooked up more towards spinning tackle and add some. So tube fishing with 2500 Stella and 6 to 8lb test fluorocarbon became my thing specially in hard days. Dont get me wrong I am all in with casting setups but I have add 30 percent spinning now compare to before which I only had one spinning combo.
  8. would you share a link for FM gloves?
  9. hmmmm that is deep dude, I personally will not get involved, That is too much for me :))
  10. There is a monkey brand I am planing to get this year, Because the fingers are removable(you get what I mean), But if this brand have the same option I am really eager to try.
  11. Couple days ago trout fishing starts again and as always I had a rod on bait and wait for trout and use my other rod for bass fishing. I was there about 33 hours and I slept about 11 hours so I fish for 22 hours in two days, Fishing was wayyyyy hard, It was temp immideate changes and north wind and being at shore leaves me with little option to move. At the end of trip I catch 6lb cat and three 2lb+ trout (On bait and wait), but I couldn't catch any bass(I was hard headed to catch on my new spinning combo), In second day I was thinking by myself when casting and covering water that how happy I am and enjoying this even I am not catching any bass. It is the bass and mystery of finding them and find the right lure that I am in love, It is the bass fishing I am in love with not catching them particularly , of course if you catch some it is a plus but the whole fishing part of it, like tackle and lures and mysteries that you facing in every lake in different time and condition, That is addictive and that is what I am hook to, Okay well I think I am brainstorming..

  16. I use SLX crank bait glass rods. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/catpage-SHIMNORODS.html?from=basres
  17. I dont use any, Because it cant do what it need with swivel. But for some lures if you need to use swivel I always use smallest swivel which is very strong for any kind of bass fishing.
  18. Condolences to his family and friends, RIP.
  19. You definitely need Fluorocarbon and 15lb test and higher, I found it 20lb test is sweet spot. Good luck.
  20. It depends on moon phase , if it is pitch black you must have lights on, You can go with red lights. Also so many nights if you turn the lights on, The mosquitos will eat you up, So a net also needed in some occasion. For night time fishing for bass I always have enough rods rigid up with what I had plan in my home, I also trying to be near my truck to do rigging there. If you have boat, I wouldn't see any problem to have some sort of light in the boat. Another thing I learned is in night minnows coming to light and bring bass to you, Also I use minnows as bait Starting next week I am going to camp every weekend for bass and trout.
  21. Guys, Somehow lost the keys and I only had one set, The dealer never gave me second set. Not I am stocked at home and need to know what is best option. Dealer or locksmith?
  22. I have my waders in a cooler in my truck and it was fine after a year. I have another one that I am wearing often and I always bring that in home to hang it after rinsing it(I use that for salt-water as well as fresh water).
  23. I was casting only few years back and II only had one spinning combo, But as I fish more and more I got more spinning combos, Not I am 30% spinning and 70% casting . And thats a lot spinning when you are fishing in SoCal.
  24. 5 cat from California aqueduct 35lb bag. It was a fun night especially the part that my friend went to get the catfish and he fall in and I had to fish my fish and my friend both on 12lb test ?
