I have one and it cant do it right. You need to look for another options. There is few other rods in same range of price that can handle it.

I am using izorline(2lb test), the reason is izorline is limper.

Yes I got so many phenix rods and weight is always a plus to make my decisions, I am going to pair this with my Metanium DC as all around rod in my truck. So if I want to walk around lakes and hike, Ill only have this combo with me.

I am all in for MBR, And I have whole line up. because they are able to do all. Very sensitive and capable of casting wide range of lure weight and same time have great back bone if you get to covers or oversized fish. I use 903 for smaller chatter bait and spinners, also use 844MBR for 2x hook chaterbaits or spinners.

So I was a freak and I didnt know. LOL Low profile or conventional, All lefty :L)
