I was casting only few years back and II only had one spinning combo, But as I fish more and more I got more spinning combos, Not I am 30% spinning and 70% casting . And thats a lot spinning when you are fishing in SoCal.

I have 903c and 905c Conquest and I use 905 for jigs and 903 for everything when I need the longer rod for distance. I would not recommend 901s for bass fishing, I would use that for trout fishing either jigging or drop shotting. I really have no idea about 902.

me too, fan of both, I would look which one is lighter and cheaper and that would be my choice.

Guys I am in market for mud flaps for my Dodge 1500 2020, It is horrible when I haul something, Not only my truck ending up messy, But my trailer getting worst. I am drop shotting from shore for trout. My set up is 7'6" ML spinning with 1000 size Sahara with 4lb test fluorocarbon with 1/8oz weight. It will go far. so you think of weight you doing and adjust your line test. But try to keep the rod longer to get more distance. And the hook number 2 or number 4 Daiiechii mosquito will do the great job.

I was thinking the same when I saw the pictures of FL anglers. Thats why I do once a week saltwater(deep sea) to have some more actions. some days I cast for 4 hours from the bank and have only one bass. some day if lucky ill have 6 or 7 bass all day when I am on float tube or boat. It is really challenging with lake pressure and weather in SoCal.
