Ive seen so many reviews of Shimano DC reels on the YouTube and read so many article about them, When I put all of them together, I found that Metanium Dc Have the greatest rating between all of them. Ive used SLX, Metanum and Antares DC reels and I have different idea. First put the SLX aside which is the cheapest and yet very good reel but 90% of us would be agree that metonym and Antares will be finalist here, I am agree that metanum DC is very super cool reel in so many angel but it is not nearly good as Antares and I think all this reviews we have all over because Antares price is so high and so many of this people even didn't try the reel yet. If you never use the Antares you need to know there is only two point that metonym would be negative for some anglers, but not for me, First price is almost twice as metanium,and the actual reel weight 6.7oz Vs 7.8oz Antares, And thats it. Ive use them both for long time and I love them both, but if I had chance to get all of my reels and afford to change, I would change all to antennas Dc. I am casting T rig(weightless) against wind and it casting farther than metanium, or I am casting heavy lures much farther with it, it is not only casting distance, it is about the drag as well specially for SoCal anglers like myself that we dealing with heavy grass and heavy fishes. anyways I don't want to make it long, I just want to say most of reviews out there done by anglers that never tried Antares, and once they do I am sure most of them will say thats the best shaman reel yet. I have so many Dc reels, just few weeks ago I got SLX because it is cheaper and more compact and spool it with 12lb vanish, I set the break on 4 and I didn't have a single backlash, also the distance is really good, the rod is MH.

I change technics and try different things till I figure it out, anyways this few times I catch no bass even I tried, but I got cats and striper, anyways ill never stop.

I ant tell you about megabits, but I can tell you since day I got conquest, I have it on hand more than all of my other rods together mine is 844c MBR and I am very super happy with it. very light weight and good back bone.

Ive seen couple videos in YouTube about modifying the Huddleston swimsuits to look more natural and I modify one of them and going to run a test next time on water, did any of you done that before? is it really effective? See the pictures below

As some of you might know, I got in big swimsuit/glide baits, for sometime now. I have everything by the book(even off the book) set up. but I cant get them or trigger them to bite, they just follow and follow till shore and then turn head back into the tip and again and again. Is there any suggestion that can help me perhaps get some? for more info I am talking 8" and 10" plus.

no I didn't , I tried loosing it and play till I got it out really slowly, I couldn't use anything sharp because it was covering tip and second one as well, thank goodness I came out, but I saw glow at the tip, I am think its a battle for another day LOL, guys all of you thanks for helping. that was the trick, thank you.

Guys I know it is stupid question but here it is, I just purchase new dobyns908 for my extra heavy swimsuits, and now I can not open the tip protector. see it in the pictures, it is not coming off, I don't know what to do.

Hi everyone, Just want to kinda report last couple times I was out in southern CA for bass fishing. I was trying everything I mean top water in mornings and try Trig multiple worms and creatures and jigs and jerk baits and crank bait and spinner and buzz bait deep to shallow, grass submerge and mated surface frogs and pop-r and punching, even I got some bluegills and hook to circle hook as live bait, NOTHING. I can see them they follow glide and large swim baits ONLY FOLLOW no bite, I did use tubes as well I got 1 bit on tube and not hook. I used night crawlers Carolina rigging, 2 bites no hook. That was it, I am giving it a break today, starting next week going out on 24 hours camping style fishing in a lake as well. Thats brutal so hard, I never thought I can get nothing in 3 trips, The good news is I am not giving up and going to continue, how about you guys, how you doing?

I am buying only 1 weight 3/8 in bulk so it will be cheaper and I am using the most in California, so few heavier ones for punching, but honestly only 3/8 tungsten and I think I need every 2 years to replace them, and I am 250 days on water each year. so it will be good if you do the same.
