  1. Thank you Sir for the reply!! That is what I will look into.
  2. Proud of ya Mom, looks like ya had a real good time.
  3. Took the boat out this weekend and filled up the gas tank and forgot to put the cap back on the gas tank. :-[ Some spilled on the carpet on the way to the lake. Anyway, the carpet came loose from the deck due to the gas. I need an adhesive that bonds with an aluminum surface after I clean all the gas residue off. What do you guys suggest? I posted a couple of pics below so you could see what I was talking about. Thanks in advance!! Normal side with no gas leakage Side with gas leakage
  4. All of the Kistler's I have purchased recently have Fuji reel seats. The loose fitting reel issue has been resolved. I did have a problem with my 7'8" Mg All Day Flipping Stick fitting a TD-Z at first but it fits fine now. I guess after I tightened it up, it formed to the reel seat. I have had zero issues with the Helium or Helium II rods. I own seven of them. Like FiveBassLimit says, you will feel every tick and bump on these rods. Do yourself a favor and start at least at the Helium line, you will not be disapointed.
  5. Seen a golf t-shirt that says, "I hit two good balls today, I stepped on a rake!" ;D

I'm on a Tru-Tungsten kick right now. They make solid jigs that have a full skirt. I'll keep using these until I find something that I like better. 8-)
  8. West Virginia's state record smallie is 9.75 lb. caught in the South Branch of the Potomac.
  9. Dan, your pictures always contain a good fish, cool fishing rod and reel, and some kind of exotic or hard to find bait. They are a joy to look at. Oh, and they always have a cool hat somewhere in them. ;D
  10. Very good demo. Thanks!!
  11. Very happy to see everything went well George. One handed typing is tough. Sit back and just get better before the fall bite really kicks in.
  12. I like those b/w photos Matt. Brings back lots of good memories.
  13. Here is a couple of the wife, Dawn. She is a real good fishing buddy. Her first crappie Her PB bass
  14. Believe me friend, I feel your pain!!! His name is Mr. Ito and he has some pretty fine tackle.
  15. Here ya go! Beware, all hope is lost for all who enter. ;D www.evergreen-fishing.com
  16. Sorry Muddy, I don't want to hijack your thread but instead of making a new one and it kind of relates to the question. I was wondering if most of the shad die in the winter or just the weak? :-?
  17. Catching a big one sure feels good doesn't it? Gut hooked fish happen sometimes to everyone. I usually get about two or three in a year and I feel just as bad as you do. Seems like to me, all of mine happen on smaller fish.
  18. T-rig, spots like that hold numerous bass including the 4.5 pounder in the first and second photo. You got to get that jig down deep through all the limbs and just be patient. Basspro48, this is Stonewall Jackson lake and it does look alot like Claytor lake. I haven't been there since I was a child. :-/
  19. I hate days like that but after you sit back and take it all in, it's just nice to be out.
  20. A very good day on the water. NICE!!!
  21. I love catching river smallies on light tackle even if they are small.
  22. You done a real good job restoring that boat. Carpet looks nice and floor hatch is well done. Be proud!!!
  23. Spent most of the weekend on the lake and the fishing was tough due to all of the holiday boat traffic. I did manage to get a few decent fish by fishing laydowns during the day and boat docks during the night. The first few pics are closeups until I managed to figure out the timer on the camera. ;D Typical laydown on the lake 4.5 lbs. on the jig Another one 4.4 lbs. Boat dock 3 lbs. Boat dock Look at my eyes, it looks like I'm scared to death. LOL!!! I think I'm going to start night fishing more. It is so much nicer at night with no jet skis and a hell of alot cooler. ;D
  24. Robert seems like a down to earth guy. I hope you guys have a lot of fun. BTW, Nice boat Redline.
  25. I agree, very nice work. The blue looks good on a rod. I don't build rods or lures but I like to look in here and see what you guys are up to from time to time. I appreciate a good craftsman/artist who shows pride in their work.
