Best jigs to put a Queen Tackle Switch Blade on?
Ive been pretty interested in these but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.. does the black hold up better than the jackhammers? Is Large or regular a more “standard” size blade?

Spinnerbaits and chatterbaits
A chatterbait for me is much more versatile and not really season/condition specific- I have not had the same year round success with a spinnerbait.

Tungsten Jigs
The OutKast feider heads paired with a dirty jigs skirt is the best tungsten combo out there, but they are pricy…

Conundrum: keep a secret place to myself?
I'm probably the exact opposite... If I find something new that works or a good spot, I wouldn't be able to stop talking about it to anyone who was interested...

Spring Jerkbait Tips - New Video!
It appears that the wrong description got added on the front page for this article, "It’s easy to get caught up in the desire for lure- and technique-specific casting rods and reels. But don’t fret if your budget or storage won’t allow for it. These three casting outfits ensure you’ll do it all". I only mention it because that's an article I really want to read, when does it drop!?

XZone Arrowhead Tungsten
It's not difficult to trim a bit off the tip of a beaver to get the weight to fit seamlessly.... much more seamless than that monstrosity..

How well do You deal with getting skunked?
Does that include travel/lodging or is that just for the guide experience?

How well do You deal with getting skunked?
It’s like 36 degrees here today… I’d give anything for the opportunity to see some open water and get skunked

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
I picked up a spool from a recent Omnia order. I can't find a review anywhere on this stuff, but it's a Seaguar product and it won best in show at Icast. At $8.50/spool vs $25 for Invisx or Abrazx it's definitely worth a shot- I won't use it with any baits where sensitivity is important but figured it might be good for chatterbaits.

2022 Elite Series - St. John’s River
I don’t know that it was that big of a deal, he weighed on time as far as I’m away. I just caught it on the photo journal of him on bassmaster main page and I was baffled that he would be in that situation early in the day on the first tourney of the season.

2022 Elite Series - St. John’s River
How in the world does Brian New let this happen....? "Stop No. 3 was another bar on the main river, even closer to Palatka. He said he still had last year’s winning spot in his mind, but he was torn. “I want to go, but I don’t know if I have enough gas,” New said. “And I didn’t check to see what fuel stations are open.”

Large Swimbait Rod Question
I know very little about swimbaits but if you are going to be throwing soft swimbaits that are approaching the 4 oz mark I would definitely get the XH...

Tubes
I purchased some tubes for the first time this week- looking around, standard tube size seems to be about 3.5". I went with the Maxscent tubes, so when the time came to select a size I went with the 3.5" model. These things are pretty big, you guys throw these on spinning gear? I'm planning on throwing a 3/16 weight on it and tossing on casting gear.... just doesn't seem very finessey to me...

Is it harder to catch any fish ?
See now I can throw a shaky head on casting gear.... I'm good now

Is it harder to catch any fish ?
Every time I convince myself that I don't need that finesse stuff and remind myself that I've never seen KVD with a spinning reel I end up reading something like this and go right back to square one....

Are Orange and Red Baits The Thing in the Spring ?
Never really thrown red.... for some reason, orange slays the pike around here so I try to avoid it... I've had much better luck with chartreuse year round

Question for X-Zone users.
The adrenaline craws have a bit more action on the arms. The wider body of the Adrenaline make it a better option for wood cover imo... Yes, I thought he was looking at Adrenaline Craw vs muscle back craw. The adrenaline bug is different...

How well do You deal with getting skunked?
If I'm getting skunked it means it's nice out and I'm sitting on the water with my son..... I really wish I had the opportunity to go get skunked today...
