  1. I think cheese and topping are the most important. Too much sauce can ruin a pizza but a pizza can be good without any sauce. I used to work at a pizza place and our cheese was mozz and white cheddar. It really gave the pizza a really good taste, a little bit different.
  2. We had our last tournament today before the classic at Lake Monroe and it turned out to be a pretty good day. The morning started out cool, but quickly warmed up to the mid to hi 70's. The skies were clear and the wind was non existent. There were an enormous amount of speck fishermen out on Lake Monroe. We had about 12 boats participating in this month's tournament and there were 6 boats that brought fish to the scales. The 1st place team brought in 4 fish weighing a little over 8 lbs. The second place team had 4 fish weighing 7.25 lbs. The 3rd place team had 3 fish weighing 7.10 lbs, and the 4th place team had 2 fish weighing 4.5 lbs. Big Bass was weighed in at 3.88 lbs. We took 4th place but didn't win any money. We started out the day fishing topwater in a small shallow cove. We weren't getting any strikes and quickly switched to soft plastic jerk baits. My partner had one on, but eventually got off about half way to the boat. We never got a good look at the fish but it was a pretty decent sized fish. I then continued to follow up his miss with a miss of my own. I was throwing a Spro BBZ-1 4" Shad and had a fish following it to the boat. I gave the bait a jerk and then let it sit. As soon as the bait stopped moving the fish struck the bait, but apparently only had the tail in its mouth because the hook set came up empty. We then moved out to the opening of the cove and switched to crankbaits. We one after the other caught two nice keepers. The first going about 2 lbs and the second about 2.5 lbs. After those two fish we moved around to the outside bank of the cove where we had been seeing a lot of action. We decided to fish spinnerbaits because the fish seemed to want something fast moving and with the shallow water and abundance of pads this seemed like the best bait. We only got one strike in this area but it was a good one. I was throwing a 3/8 oz Hart Spinnerbait and as soon as I had the fish hooked it wrapped me around the pads and my 12lb test line broke with ease. All in all we had a pretty good day. We could have easily won this tournament if we had caught all the fish we missed. Next Saturday we have our Club Classic.
  3. I would try exchanging the discs for new ones. I have done this before with playstation games, I just told them they didn't work and wanted to exchange them for a new and they usually don't have any problem with this. Also if you can try to bring the discs that don't work and try it on someone elses game console or if you can't access someone elses console try going to a gamestop or some place like and see if they can play the disc on one of their consoles.
  4. I thought click was a great movie and I watched it again the other day. To the guy who said he doesn't like Will Smith's serious movies...Wow, he makes great movies.

I have never heard of the site. I tried to enter it into the url and it didn't go anywhere.
  6. Like the kind of hinges you see on kitchen cabinets. I don't want kitchen cabinet hinges I need some marine grade hinges like that. The type of hinges you see on bass boats.
  7. ROCK BAND. I got this for christmas and play it all the time. It is awesome.
  8. Yeah except if you go to lowes.com and search for flush mount hinge you get a bunch of hinges that would have metal on the outside of the box.
  9. I am thinking about converting some of my storage areas on my boat into hinged covers. I am looking for some hinges that work from the inside so there won't be anything showing on the outside of the deck. I basically want a flush mount storage covers. What type of hinges should I buy?
  10. When can we start putting our orders in for the new stuff?
  11. If you are fishing Florida winters I would go with everything. I will have all of those tied on this Saturday for my tournament.
  12. Hey man it's cool. I'm just glad you got the lunker punker. I was worried that you didn't get it. *** didn't give me a tracking number so I didn't know if it had been delivered. Let's wait a couple more days and see if it shows up. When did it ship. I'll go check the mail now and see if it is in the box. I didn't check the mail yesterday. Just glad you got my gift.
  13. Anyone heard from Fr0g I was paired with him for the Xmas exchange and bought tackle from ***.com and sent it directly to his address. I have tried pm'ing him and he hasn't respnoded. i'm just wondering if he got what I sent.
  14. It may be tidewater up near Jacksonville but in the Deland area we don't see and water level changes.
  15. Rule #1 Don't Bring an $800 guitar to play at a party, sooner or later something is going to happen to it. Alcohol makes people act different, wait a day or so and see what is up then. Just tell them let's forget that night and move on.
  16. Here's the answer why. I am a FULL TIME EBAY SELLER. This is all I do for a living and have been doing it for a long time. I know all the ins and outs of Ebay. About a year ago Ebay decided that is was going to become more BUYER friendly. They were listening to the buyers that were in the minority mind you, that we having bad experiences. This number is very small but Ebay is a very greedy business and again only looking out for their buyers. Dont misunderstand me, buyer protection is extremly important but sellers need protection as well. In their infinite wisdom they chaged many of the policies that protected the SELLER. Issues like sellers getting taken on a sale where they buyer never pays and the seller cant leave a negitive feedback for the buyer, come on. A buyer can hold a seller hostage and demand partial refunds etc and the seller has no recourse. Lets say you get a reel and theres a few scratches on it and the seller said it has some minor deck rash. You dont think thats the case. You can now email the seller and say this has more than minor deck rash, give me 20 dollars back or Im leaving you a negitive. What can the seller do? Report the buyer? Ha thats a joke. Ive done it and nothing happens. A seller not being able to leave any negitive feedback is crazy. I understand that some sellers leave retaliation feedbacks but there are ways to control that. While I do agree that there are some crooked sellers on Ebay 95% are honest Ebay sellers that stand behind everything they sell. Its a small 5% that dont. When a buyer sees something he likes the key is to only but from a proven seller like myself. I have almost 3000 positives and a few negitives that I even tried to make the buyer happy but you cant please everyone. Sellers got tired of this kind of thing happening to them. PLUS the fact that Ebays fees have skyrocketed SO high its crazy. They now MAKE both buyers and SELLERS use Paypal. No more moneyorders or checks. Do you know why? Because they BOUGHT PAYPAL! By the time I list my item and get my payment from Payapl I'm spending almost 20%! you may think thats cheap but now add in the cost that I spent on the item, usually 50% of the final sale price and Im making 30%! Take out my time to list it etc and my profits about 15%! Thats nuts! While I still like alot about Ebay as do many sellers, some dont and are finding other ways to sell their items. Ebid, Ubid, Craigslist and a whole host of other sites are far more cheaper. The "Bad Economy" excuse is not it for the most part. If things are bad theres going to be MORE for sale. People are trying to sell MORE stuff to make some extra money. Its Ebays own doing that has cause this. I am already selling on other auction sites and these sites are growing every day.Im hopeing by next year to be done with Ebay. Buyer protection is important but people like me who sell on Ebay for a living need protection too and were just not getting it. The bottom line is the decline is items listed for sale is because there are less sellers because Ebay has chased them away. Polls have been taken to back this up. I'm pretty sure 15% is good profit margin.
  17. YOu can rent a boat from Highland Park Fish Camp. Tackle would be topwater, crankbaits, jerkbaits, and anything that is considered a power fishing bait.
  18. You can also check out Highland Park Fish Camp, they have pretty good guides there. Deion Sanders used to fish with the guys at highland park, they have also been featured in Florida Sportsman a nuymber of times.
  19. Canon a50 Digital Camera Rock Band I for the Wii Cologne Dolce and Gabana Light Blue Pair of Shorts Two Polo Style Shirts $50 worth of tackle from *** Hed Pe N.W.O Pre-Order pack and more that I don't feel like listing now...man I got a bunch of stuff...lol
  20. I took the boaters saftey course when I was like 15 so I could operate a Jet Ski when I went to PA for vacation on the kinzu dam. I don't remember what I got on the test but I still have my boater saftey card in my wallet.
  21. Lake George is very far run from Deland ramps depending on which ones you put in at, but I would say that the opening to Lake George from the river is probably 20 miles from the closest ramp in Deland. I would suggest bringing soft plastics mainly soft jerk baits, topwater baits, and crankbaits. Fish will be in pre-spawn, spawn, and post spawn mode at this time. I personally would fish either the deleon springs run or lake woodruff. Live shiners also do very well this time of year in Florida. Are you bringing a boat with you. I actually live in deland.
  22. I had a DT flat 3 and the bill broke off the first day I threw it.
  23. I have done this before too. All i had to do is print out the online price and bring it to the store and our BPS always honors the onlne price.
  24. I have had many trolling motor cables break on me. It is a real pain in the a** when you are trying to get trolling motor out of the water and the cord breaks. I have always replaced with rope but I'm thinking that a plastic coated cable would work really well for this, like the kind that they have for dogs to run around in the yard.

You can make some really cool stuff doing this. I have been doing this for years. It is cool to get a bunch of old unused soft plastics and see what you can make up. I like really big worms so a lot of time I will put together a worm and another worm to make like a 15" worm.
