  1. it is a very good movie. I saw this about a year ago.
  2. I'm looking for a livewell timer. What are some of the better after market timers. How easy is it to install the timer. I will need one that has auto (timed) and straight on because my livewell filler is also my recirculate.
  3. Very cool Tony. I graduated from Deland High School in 2001. Care to give up any good spots on St. Johns.
  4. Very informative. I really liked the video. Keep them coming.
  5. Nice fish. Send some of that rain up this way.
  6. If you aren't turning the prop when you are trying to shift into reverse it is going to feel like reverse doesn't work. I thought I had a problem with my engine because it didn't feel like it would go into reverse but it only felt that way when the engine is off. Make sure you are turning the prop when you try to put it in reverse.
  7. That is a hell of a lot of fish to catch. I wonder if they caught or used some kind of illegal net.
  8. Smithwick Devil's Horse
  9. I haven't pulled the trigger on one but they usually have a few in stock at the local wal-mart. They seem like really nice rods and I actually prefer the SS guides. I have two Berkley Lightning rods (spinning) and one Berkley Bionix crankbait rod and I love all of them. I think they are very good rods.
  10. Yes the Stick Marsh is a wonderful fishery. I have been there around 8 times and it has been awesome every time. I have fished live bait (shiners) and artificials there and have always had success. Just one word of caution is when the wind is blowing the right way the canals used to get back to the ramp can be very big. I was there a few years ago in the winter and the wind picked up and the waves were at least 2 to 4 feet. It was kind of scary to say the least.
  11. I don't understand what is gimmicky about this bait. Yes the video and stating 3 to 1 is a gimmick that tru-tungsten and spro don't use but from what I saw in the video it is no different than the tru-tungsten or spro shad swimbait. It is a hard swim bait with multiple segments. Please elaborate on the gimmick.
  12. If you are getting the regular Berkley Lightning Rod and not the shock or some other version they have recently came out with the price is a little high. You can get the Lightning Rods at wal-mart for about $35.
  13. I have done this a few times. Like burley said make sure sure red goes to + and black to -
  14. I don't think I would change anything florida fishing is awesome. You can fish river systems, big lakes, small lakes, ponds, creeks. We have everything here and we get to fish year round.
  15. If it is as easy as mine all you have to do is remove the screw and bolt that holds the head to the shaft and turn the head 180 degrees and reinsert the nut and bolt and you are done. I do this all the time. I use my transom mount motor on my jon boat on the transom and then turn the head around to use it on my bigger boat on the bow.
  16. Anything more than 3 gb's of ram and you are wasting you are wasting your money, unless you buy the 64 bit version of XP/Vista. 32 bit XP/Vista can't see the full 4gb of ram and won't be able to use it.
  17. that was the stupidest thing I have ever seen and it will probably be stuck in my head for at least a week. I don't think there is an ending. At least my 7 minutes of watching and there wasn't and end. 18. So, I knew I needed to repair the power tilt/trim because it was leaking from the rod. So today I go out to get the power tilt/trim off the boat so I can take it some where. I set the tilt/trim to manual and slowly lowered the enging, then I slowly stated raising the enging so I could lock it in the up position so I could remove the titl/trim unit and the d**n rod on the tilt/trim unit completely broke in two. I guess for the time being (possibly forever) no tilt/trim. A new tilt/trim unit for these engines cost over $900 plus labor. >
  19. I was at gander in Lake Mary last week and they had Strike King Series 1, 3, and 5 for $1.49 each. Color Selection wasn't great but, I bought 2 anyway.
  20. You can take all the preventative measure you want and still get infected. The way to not get infected is to know what is safe to click on what is not. If you start seeing popus close all windows using alt + f4 and restart the computer. Once the computer restarts and start running scans. I get a lot of people at my job with these problems. I have seen sypware/malware disable installs, opening of anti-malware and spyware programs and not allow browsing to sites where you can download or update spyware/malware protection. The only thing to really do is reformat or remove the hard drive and connect it to another computer and scan the drive from that computer.
  21. I agree with the gateway statement. I would recommend HP or Dell. Building a computer can become expensive, sometimes costing even more than a computer from HP or Dell. It is also a lot of work to build your own computer.
  22. Wow, that if freaking awesome. I wish I had the kind of coin needed for one of those. The unit you have probably cost more than my boat.
  23. Thanks for the quick response guys. I will have to pick one of those up. One more question how do I bleed the lines to get all the air out of the unit?
  24. The power tilt/trim on my boat has been leaking and i'm trying to fill it up for the time being until I can get it fixed. The problem I am having is even with the tongue of the trailer laying on the ground the fill port is still at an angle where the fluid won't go in. Do I need like a turkey baster or something like that to fill this thing up?
  25. I just recentely did this with a 2004 Carolina Skiff J16 with 2004 Tohatsu 30hp 4-stroke. I paid $750. I have to replace a few things but so far all is well. I have replaced the wiring, switches, hubs, leaf springs, tires and wheels, good cleaning, trailer lights and wiring, general lubing and grease. I still have to get the tilt and trim repaired and shift cable adjustment, but the motor runs and will be an awesome boat.
