How often do your rods snap?
I haven't ever broken a rod while fighting a fish or casting a lure. I have broken off some tips but was user error.

Possible to make a 15HP, a 20HP?
I know since buy my new boat with a 2004 30hp tohatsu 4-stroke I have read that the 25hp is almost the exact same motor except for something in the carb and the ecm or ecu. Changing those two things make it a 30hp but those two changes are like $1100. Yours could be cheaper and easier or the cubic inch of your engine may be the same as the 9.9 meaning you can't up the hp anymore.

So not the best start to my day today
My college would give my friends tickets too, but they really had no authority and they couldn't do anything if you didn't pay them and you didn't go to school there. Unless their campus security are actual police just forget about paying the parking tickets.

Covering a V-Hull
Instead of investing more money in custome covers and what not, why not just buy one of the those aluminum frame carports. Something like this http://www.aah-canopies.com/orkincan.html

Polarizd Glasses?
I have a pair of Style Science from Bass Pro. I have had them for about a year and they have been very good glasses. I prefer the amber lenses. I think they were somewhere around $20.

On becoming a topwater purist
I throw topwater all year long and will throw it at 11:30 in the morning and still catch fish on it even during the summer. There is a guy down here known as Top Water Charlie that will only fish topwater all day and win some major local tx's

CD Burning Problem
the burn speed is dependent on the max write speed of your drive and also how fast your computer can buffer what is going to be written. I have a one year old laptop with a max burn speed of 52x and almost never reaches 52x but can burn a full cd in less than 5 minutes. I don't know if you have Big Lots up there but they have 4gb memory sticks for $10 right now. Also 4gb sd cards for $10. When burning a cd make sure all other programs are shut down before trying to burn. Also in my opinion sonic is a terrible burning program it is absolutely horrible at estimating time remaining. 90% of the time my cd/dvd's are done burning when the progress bar only shows like 60 - 75%. Use nero if you can.

What does a bass bed look like and how do you see them?
- Anyone used this or similar????
I used to fish Mosquito Lagoon a lot about 8 years ago with my dad and he made a home made push pole out of like 1.5" diameter wooden rod and he fabricated a foot for the end out of pvc probably cost him a total of $15 and it worked very well for years. I still have the pole portion I just need to re-fabricate the pvc end.- Problem with Digi Cam - SD memory card
The only reason I can think of is it keeps the card in a like new state because it is completely clean, but I have never had to format any of my memory cards. I wouldn't format the card with the exception of having the card for quite a while with heavy use or you suspect possible corruption.- Stick Marsh - simply amazing
Did he have it hooked or did it simply jump into his boat?- Problem with Digi Cam - SD memory card
When viewing all your hard disks right click on the memory card and select format and then select start. That is all you need to do.- "Big" Bass, Small Ponds
A lot of the lakes in central florida that I fish aren't more than 10ft deep at any point and they all hold big bass.- Best Monofilament???
I use many different lines and like them all. I use big game, red cajun, yo zuri hybrid, berkley flourcarbon, and spiderwire braid.- Sleepwalking doggie style.
That was hilarious. I actually laughed out loud.- Re: FINALLY!! A NEW PB! (PIC)
Nice fish. Really hard to tell the weight because you are holding so far from your body.- Trolling Motor Mounting Help
The right side should work ok. I would go with either B or C it will keep it out of the way when the trolling motor isn't in the water.- crazy enough to work?
I have been putting smaller hollow bellied swimbaits on a chatterbait. I haven't fished it much but I think it should produce.- What were your most scary points in life...
Losing a good friend to a murder 4.5 years ago. Trying to get back to the ramp at Stick Marsh. It was the winter and a cold front blew through the preceding day. We headed out in the morning and I suggested we stay on the ramp side of the lake but the other people with us wanted to go to the far side. We forgot to gas up that morning also. We started heading back and got to the ramp side of the lake and the waves were at least 2 ft maybe more. We were only in a 16ft boat. About now we are almost out of gas and we make the turn down the canal back to the ramp and the way the wind was blowing was causing the waves to break right into the side of the boat. It would have been very messy if we would have ran out of gas. I got soaking wet and the air temp was probably only 38 that day. That was pretty scary especially if you would have seen the size and sharpness of the rocks we would have been smashed against if we ran out of gas.- Oh no oil!
I don't think that is normal although I could be wrong. I would defenitely check the manual on the torque of those bolts and make sure they haven't loosened up any. If they are at the correct specs I would take it to the Dealer and let them deal with it unless you just want to try and change the gasket yourself. Note: I really don't know what I'm talking about, but it sounds good.- Name This Fish
- Bass Pro Shops XPS lures
I have never had a negative experience with any of the BPS branded cranks, line, weights, reels, rods etc. I actually really like the XPS cranks.- Early spring foggy good stuff (video)
"We got tother places to be"...lol - Anyone used this or similar????
