I recently bought an older Minn Kota PowerDrive with autopilot. The motor and everything works great and I am very happy with the trolling motor. Is there anyway to tell if autopilot is working on the motor. There is a switch to turn AutoPilot on but I don't know if there is a certain sequence of button presses to turning it on.

The most important thing is what kind of RPM's are you turning with your current prop. I think lower pitch increases RPM's and higher pitch Descreases RPM's.

I dont' know what size your Jon is now but I have a 12' long about 34" beam and I'm about 6'3" 260 and my partner is about 6' 200 and we don't have any problems fishing out of my jon boat. If you are by yourself you shouldn't have any problems fishing out of a 12' jon.

Everyone thinks it is going to be Cavs/Lakers in the Finals but if it was such a done deal then there wouldn't be any reason to have playoffs. Any team can win on any given night. Just look at the Superbowl this year. Who honestly thought the Cardinals were going to be in the Superbowl. I think San Antonio and the Mavs have a shot as well as the Magic and Celtics in the East. The Nuggets have a solid team also.

I was recently in the same situation. I think my tires were the same size. Tractor Supply was the only place I could find tires without the rims but they cost more than the tire/rim combination from Wal-mart. I think I paid $100 for two.

I understand Silva not going after him, but you can only chase a guy around the ring for so long. Leites kept falling to his back everytime Silva started to throw some flurry of punches. I think Leites looked like a real idiot and I think Dana White should have a talk with Leites about this fight. If Leites didn't want to fight he shouldn't have taken the fight. For anyone that has fought before it is hard to fight someone that doesn't want to fight.

the Silva Laettes fight was very disapointing. What was Laettes doing falling down and trying to get Silva to pull guard everytime Laettes would take some shots. Laettes is not even in the same league as Silva. Laettes is so bad he shouldn't be able to fight in the UFC anymore.

I am going to have to disagree with everyone about the powerdrive motors. I just got my new used powerdrive put on my boat today and took it out on the lake and did some fishing with it today. I thought it was great. I even have to navigate a fairly skinny canal lined with lily pads to get to the lake and I found the control was adequate. Yeah a cable drive probably would have been a little easier to control, but for my first time using a powerdrive I found it to be very easy to use. I like not having a cable on the deck to deal. There are no wires to get caught in. The stow and deploy system does kind of suck but I think I'll be able to get used to it. With my motor the longer you hold down to turn in either direction it gets up to like a high speed turn for faster turning. I would defenitely buy another powerdrive unless this one takes a crap on me really fast. I only paid $60 for the motor so I won't be out too much money anyway.

According to one of the guys I talked to Minn Kota offers a credit for discontinued parts. So basically Minn Kota is forcing people to buy new motors. This is now the second motor I may have to replace because Minn Kota decided not to make parts for older motors. I could see them not having parts available for motors from the early 80's but this motor is only like 10-12 years old.

I have an older Minn Kota Powerdrive Autopilot with a broken speed control cover. Minn Kota says they are out of stock and not available anymore. The part number I am looking for is 2306532. I have tried trollingmotorparts.com and they don't have any. Any help is appreciated.

yeah I watched the show and found it pretty interesting.

I was just like davis in college. I absolutely hated to study and I very rarely did any studying unless I knew I had a test coming up. I would for the most part do my homework and contribute to the group projects. When I took my myers briggs test mine said that I wasn't the prototypical college student. My motto for college was C's get degrees. My degree got me a good job and I will be able to continue to get jobs because I have that little piece of paper.

Yeah it kind of screwed me up a little bit too.
