  1. I did the same thing yesterday
  2. I might be going to look at this boat and I was wondering if anybody knew the gauge of the aluminum this boat is made out of?
  3. I have a 78 35hp Evinrude that runs like a top and starts everytime. That thing is bullet proof.
  4. I had a DT 3 and the lip broke off in less than a day of fishing.
  5. I have and use extensively 3 berkley rods. I have two Berkley Lightning Rods and one Bionix rod, all three have the ss304 guides and I have never had a problem with any of them and I actually prefer these over the ceramic guides. How many times have you had the inside of the guide fall out. I have never had this happen on any of my berkley rods.
  6. Great Choice Evinrude makes an unbelievable engine.
  7. You can fit bigger rods in your car unless you only have a 2 seater. I used to have to do this when shore fishing until I got a truck. Take your rods and go to the passenger side of the vehicle. Open the front passenger side and start by sticking the tips of the rods in angled toward the back drivers side of the car and then set the butt end on the floor of the front passenger side. I can fit all of my rods in a honda accord this way and I have multiple 7' rods. I have a friend who fits 7' rods in his civic this way. Hope this helps get a 7 footer.
  8. I guess this is true. My next computer will be this: http://www.apple.com/macbook/ waste of money unless you are an image/video editor. x2
  9. Leaky Boats Pleasure boaters who have no sense that thier 4 foot wake will almost capsize my 14.5' boat and then wave when they go by and thier wake crashes over the front of my boat. I think everyone should have to get a license to drive a boat just like you have to, to drive a car or a motorcycle. Getting skunked at a TX Not having enough room in my boat Loops in my spinning reel. Losing a wacky rig senko on a 8" bass TX particiapants showing up late for a weigh-in then asking if they can still weight their catch. No you can't, you were late.
  10. Glenn, i'm on IE7 and at the bottom of the page when reading posts with multiple pages, you can only see the page you are on. The link is there for the other pages but is invincible.
  11. 1. Have you defragmented the hard drive lately? 2. Have you ran a spyware scan lately? 3. What version of Windows are you running? 4. What programs are running in the background? 5. 10 seconds is not that long for a webpage to load, especially with all the stuff that has to load on webpages today. 6. You may have to spend money to upgrade the RAM in your computer.
  12. I chose other. My favorite is the Spro Chug Minnow. I like this bait because it is easy to walk and it kind of spits as it walks and has a different profile than most walk the dog baits. My second favorite is probably the Zara Spook.
  13. My only thought was that possibly the softer metal would bend more easily when it hits something so as to maybe not break things inside the engine.
  14. I didn't go shopping at a brick and mortar store on black friday I shopped online, and didn't have to see any of that craziness.
  15. I would defenitely use that. I have used worms that 16" and caught bass on them. Bass here in florida love big worms. I don't throw worms smaller than 10" anyway.
  16. Not sure why but I always heard that running in shallow water you should use an aluminum prop. I used to run Mosquito Lagoon a lot and we always had an aluminum prop. Also if you need to plane in shallower water turn to one side real hard when you go to wot, it will help you get up faster. We used to run our boat in less than a foot water and would sometimes run a ground but never got any damage thankfully.
  17. I would have liked to get that too, but I was sick and I hurt my back changing out the headlights on my commuter car, so I was relegated to sleeping on the couch all day.
  18. I purchased the full set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer for my girlfriend off of amazon for $69.99. The regular price is $186.99. What did you get?
  19. I also haven't had much of a chance to fish this bait, but I have caught a couple of fish on this bait and I have some confidence on it. I have had lots of short strikes on this bait and I think if I can learn to let it fall when I feel the first hit, that those fish would come back and eat it. I have been fishing the Natrual Shad in Slow Sink, and I plan on getting the Blue Herring in Fast Sink and the Dirty Shad in Floating. I am in love with this bait and can see it catching some big fish for me this winter/spring.
  20. go to walmart and get one of the okeechobee fats tackle bags, they come with the boxes too. They have two different ones a smaller one for 20 and a big one for 40. I have had both and they both were awesome tackle bags.
  21. I could use a Spro BBZ-1 4" Shad in Dirty Shad Color Floating...hint...hint.
  22. It is a tough place to fish if you haven't ever fished it before. It took me about 3 trips to start catching fish in the Marsh. Once you know where the fish hold, you will love. Also the lake can be very dangerous.

The slow sink bbz shad will sit on its hooks on the bottom, looks really awesome. I can't wait to fish this thing more. I hope to get out this friday.
