I push my 12' jon boat all day on one battery with a 46lb thrust Minn Kota and Maxx Marine Battery from Wal-Mart. It will be slow into the head wind but you will make. the Saltwater series motors are better for the salt water but if you make sure you rinse it with freshwater real good when you get home you shouldn't have many problems.

I would make a box out of wood without the bottom and secure it to the deck with metal angle. Seems pretty straight forward.

The steering cables on those things are terrible and will break at any given moment.

We had a tournament yesterday out of S.R. 44 (Whitehair Bridge) in Deland, FL. This was the first time I have fished the St. Johns River since the Tropical Storm Fay flooded much of the area. The river was still a foot or two above normal water level. This water level has the water still back into the trees. The water is also running very fast to the North, which is normal. We had 8 boats participating, which is about half of our normal field. The morning started out dissapionting. Something was wrong with our gas line, it wasn't sealing correctly with the inlet valve of the motor, so we had to troll around all day (of course after we pulled out I got it to seal correctly). Out of 8 boats there were 4 total keeper fish caught, although one boat didn't get to weigh in their fish because they were late. So the total winning weight was 6.92 pounds, with big fish being 5.5lbs. It was a totally dissapionting day, but it was nice to be out on the water.

I went with the slow sink because I knew I could work it on top and I could let it sink and then work it slow on the bottom. To me the slow sink covered more than I thought I could with the fast sink.

Yeah I was kind of thinking the same thing, she is still drinking and eating and playing. I'll give it another day or two.

I have a 6lb Yorkie and for the past two days she has had runny poop, not diahrea, just runny, and tonight she threw up her food. She doesn't act sick but how long should I wait until I take her to the vet. She is acting normal wanting to play and everything I just don't want to wait too long.

Honestly it could be really bad like an acl or it could just be a sprain. I have thankfully not had any serious knee problems but I have sprained, hyperextended and just about everything else you can do to a knee. I have also sprained my ankle many and times have heard it pop before. sometimes a bad sprain can take up to two weeks or more to get better. if it gets better the more you use it it is probably just a sprain.

My girlfriend got the flu shot a week or so ago and she had some type of reaction to the shot. Her arm started to swell up, got tingly, and lost some feeling in her arm. Then the next day she had a very bad stomach pains and had a half dollar size bruise around where she got the shot. Never wanted a flu shot and this makes me sure that I will never get one.

it is possible the hits you are missing are smaller pan fish like bream, also in my experience I catch a lot of smaller fish on the wacky rig. I can't recall ever missing a fish that could put the whole bait in it's mouth with the hook you are describing. I catch a ton of fish on the wacky rig.

I have had a so so year. I finished 3rd in my club classic. I didn't fish as much as I would have liked but I was surrounded by saltwater for most of the year. One thing I can say is I live in florida and I still have the best months of bass fishing ahead of me. Oh Yeah.

I bought the bait online at ***.com I read the thread on the top fin is supposed to imitate a threadfin shad. they have the same type of thing on them.
