When did whopper ploppers get fat ?
For two maybe three years the WP was lights out for me. Then it died. Now the Spook gets most of the work.

I'm glad you liked it. Good luck with them!

Josh Jones at it again
There's a map called Cartel on Call of Duty Cold War that I always dominate on. It's full of bushes and visibility is close to zero. I'm one of very few people who have a gun dedicated for the map when it pops up. I use a flashlight attachment on the gun. In CoD a flashlight attachment puts a red dot above the enemy to help reveal them at a distance. Most people don't use this because it does have its cons (sprint to fire time takes a big hit), but on Cartel, it's more than worth it. While everyone else is running around blind I see people through the bushes because I see the red dot. The flashlight essentially hands me the game. I don't do anything special. I can just see where others can't. A lot of the time some of the players I dominated on this map turn around a slap me silly on the very next map where all things are equal because their gun skill is better.

Cold water finesse jig
TRD Craw on a Bitsy Bug is hard to beat and as a bonus is very economical.

Best IPT for a deep crank/lipless setup?
Deep cranking and lipless crankbaits are on the exact opposite ends of the cranking spectrum. You want a 5 ratio for deep cranking and a lipless can be thrown on any medium/medium heavy rod with a 6 to 8 gear ratio. I would never consider throwing a lipless on a 5 ratio. If you want to split the difference get a 6 I guess.

Tackle warehouse scam
Most places I go out to eat at these days have a kiosk at the table where you swipe and pay yourself and it spits out a receipt right there. The cheaper diners are behind the times.

Tackle warehouse scam
I don't think anyone has claimed TW themselves are scamming or have scammed anyone. The title of the OP is poor wording is all. Talking about the things TW should have done before, during, and after is not calling them scammers.

- Tackle warehouse scam
Knowing about it since the middle of October and not warning anyone is wrong. It just recently came to light for the whole public. And it continues to happen. They're aren't the scammers by any means but they aren't innocent either.- Tackle warehouse scam
And with that, blind, biased support should cease. They're not the first and won't be the last, though. If you think this is crazy, wait until you hear about what's happened with the likes of Walmart and Target.- Tackle warehouse scam
I keep seeing that this is continuing to happen to people after TW purchases on various different pages I'm part of. Previously I said that this isn't unique to TW; they aren't the first and won't be the last to be hit by hackers trying to steal people's money. And that remains true. However, that it continues is unique and honestly a complete joke.- Alabama rig - better quality rigs and other questions
I've never used it, but the Tactical Bassin guys talks about the HogFarmer Flex Rig all the time. They helped design it. I believe every word that comes out of their mouths when it comes to bass fishing.- Yo Zuri hybrid sensitivity?
YZH and BG are my primary lines. You know what makes my decision for me? Do I want this to float or not (because YZH can kind of suspend rather than float or sink).- Whats Europe's most popular sport fish?
A perfect example of one man's trash being another man's treasure. I don't know a single person in the states who fishes for carp on purpose or even likes to catch them.- Whats Europe's most popular sport fish?
Don't they have pike? I'd fish for pike over carp.- Yo Zuri hybrid sensitivity?
For me I only go, "wow, that's sensitive" with braid. YZH is an excellent line and is basically the same as any other in the sensitivity department. It's strong, ties good knots, and is super manageable if you spray it down with KVD L&L.- 2021 Fishmas loot thread
@heavyduty this is above and beyond! Thank you! Merry Fishmas, Merry Christmas, and God bless you too! The research was impeccable. You picked up on my finesse fishing being basically all Ned Rig related, you picked up on the spinnerbait coming back into my arsenal big time (having even gotten a War Eagle which is what I use the most), and saw that I'm going down the jerkbait rabbit hole. Very cool. I don't know if it was an excellent guess or if you really dug deep, but I love, love, love finesse jigs. These will be the first things I use, actually, maybe even today. My angler's package goes out today!- Those painful pet peeves!
Same. It doesn't always come off that way through text, but I'm a gentle giant. I just like being alone. I don't like people pestering me, and I do let out a very quiet sigh when I see that I'm not going to be alone on the water, but when (because it is when, not if) interaction happens I'm friendly. At the end of last summer a grandpa was fishing with his grandson. The grandson had obviously been going down the Googan YouTube rabbit hole, but he wasn't catching fish (hmmm). They saw me slaying bass on a lipless and the grandpa came over to ask what I was doing because they weren't catching anything and he didn't know anything about bass fishing. I explained the lipless bait and how I was retrieving it. He said he'll look to see if his grandson has anything like it in his tackle box. I paid close attention over the course of the next 10 minutes and saw that he did not have a lipless bait. The only thing I had on me that day was my rod and reel and the lipless tied on, nothing else (there are exactly zero snags where I was fishing it so I wasn't worried about it). I bit the line to free my lipless and walked over and gave it to the grandson and left.- History Lesson
Crazy how different fishing situations are for different people in different places. I've had massive days by just moving. Of course this is after too many hours upon hours spent being stubborn and honestly lazy about it. I just had one of the best Novembers of my life by leaving where I've caught them, where they "should" be but aren't cooperating, by going where the books say I shouldn't and using what the books say won't work.- History Lesson
Yes, but be willing to move when the place you caught them yesterday and perhaps many times over isn't panning out. A good way to have a bad day is staying put because of history.- 5 rod setup?
Yes- Best baits for river fishing this winter? Favorite Craw?
It really doesn't matter with the Ned. They'll eat it regardless. - Tackle warehouse scam
