  1. my frog togs are the 2 -piece jacket and pants, paid new 30.00. I have fished with them in pouring rain and all day light drizzle and had no problems. I put on a ball cap and put the hood over my head so rain doesnt get on my forehead and run down into my neck, it just rolls off the bill. Yes if it is warm out they get hot. When i get home i hang them up to dry.
  2. Homers and more Hays hits help Orioles to 8-6 win over Rays.
  3. O"s avoid the sweep. Beat Cubbies 6-3 without this guy we would be in deep dodo.
  4. O"s take 2 out of 3 from Toronto. Tyler Wells turned in his third quality start in his last four outings, surviving two home runs from Danny Jansen, and Yennier Cano and Félix Bautista handled the last seven outs in a 4-2 victory and the 23rd comeback win of the season improved the Orioles to 43-25. They secured their 15th series and pushed the Blue Jays six games behind them in the standings.
  5. Well my wife volunteered to climb up the tree and hand saw it. I did get permission from the neighbor whom was going to trim their overhanging tree onto our property last year but it never happened. Talked to her new husband in may and he said he was to busy to cut the tree so i told him i would do it with his ok. He was fine with that agreement. Lazy people as neighbors, their whole front yard is overwhelmed with 3 different types of trees all growing branches into each other and flopping over and drooping down into my yard. I did trim the neighbors tree in 2020 that was in my way and the lady whom was not married at that time chewed my hind end off saying why didnt i ask her permission? I told her because the law states if i stay on my property and cut your impeeding branches i can legally cut them. Plus we dont like each other from past experiences with her fence line which 1 month after she had a fence put up the contractor had to come and tear it down because they put it in my yard by more than 2 feet. That killed my relationship with her. She wasnt married at that time and stated to me she doesnt like me and doesnt want to ever talk to me after i went up to her and told her her new fence was on my property and she got jacked over that and has hated me since. Here is a pic of her climbing the coconut trees in the philippines.
  6. O"s win, The roster keeps changing and unheralded players are thrust into larger roles and they keep winning. Adam Frazier and Ryan O’Hearn hit two-run homers off Chris Bassitt, followed by Gunnar Henderson’s grand slam, and the Orioles ran their winning streak to five games with an 11-6 victory over the Blue Jays at Camden Yards. Aaron Hicks nailed the right field foul pole against reliever Bowden Francis in the fourth, and the Orioles improved to 42-24, moving 18 games above .500 for the first time since July 25, 2016.
  7. I worked at a Kenworth truck dealership in Concord New Hampshire back in the 80"s. Many truck drivers from Maine in the logging industry would come down to us and spend a high amount of money on plush air ride seats and chrome accessories. They had money to burn then and were great people to shoot the bs with. They were 100% hillbillies in a good way.
  8. Yeah, i will have my protector with me so i should be ok.
  9. Levittown PA take 95 south to philly and get off at Broad street. Catch a football or baseball game at Veterans stadium. Great memories, tough crowd back in the 80s. I would like to go back and visit and bring the wife to show her the historical sites in the city of Philadelphia but i just dont want to take a chance with gettin my car broken into and the shootings.
  10. Henderson is our only recent prospect thats up from the minors, Rauschman was up most of last year. We are winning with journey men like O"Hearn and Lester who are getting timely hits and are filling in for a sitting Mountcastle who is in a bad slump as usual and a slumping Mateo. Aron Hicks is filling in great so far for an injured Mullins. Here are the Orioles rookies in the minors and their ranking amoung all minor leaguers according to Baseball America. #2 Jackson Holliday, #16 Colton Cowser, #17 Grayson Rodriguez, #46 Jordan Westburg, #75 Joey Ortiz, #80 DL Hall, #81 Samuel Basallo, #84 Heston Kjerstad.
  11. Gunnar Henderson's 462-foot Eutaw Street homer, which hit the street then hit the warehouse, is the longest homer to reach Eutaw Street in the history of Camden Yards. Gunnar Henderson: "It's really special. This ballpark is really historic, and it's really gonna be a great memory for me and I'm really gonna look forward to seeing it [the plaque] out there."
  12. O"s sweep the royals. The Orioles used another variation of their lineup, sitting some regulars and toying again with the order. Their methods keep working. Josh Lester started at first base and broke a tie in the third with a two-run single, Gunnar Henderson hit a 462-foot three-run homer and came within a triple of the cycle, Ryan O’Hearn homered and reached base five times for the only time in his career, and the Orioles defeated Kansas City 11-3. Henderson pushed the lead to 10-3 in the seventh with the longest Eutaw Street homer in the ballpark's history, on a Jackson Kowar slider, The exit velocity was 113.8 mph, and Henderson stood at the plate with bat in hand and watched its flight until it hit the warehouse on one bounce. The kid is worth watching. Henderson has strung together three consecutive multi-hit games and is 10-for-19 in his last five. His average is up to .236 and his OPS to .804. Kyle Gibson allowed three runs and seven hits in 6 1/3 innings for his seventh quality start. He didn’t walk a batter and struck out four.
  13. The Orioles sent left-hander Cole Irvin to the mound today. He would have a chance to pitch his team to a win and perhaps to pitch himself back into the starting five in the rotation. Irvin allowed one run over 5 1/3 innings after entering with an ERA of 10.38, as the Orioles beat Kansas City 6-1. Baltimore improves to 40-24 on the year. “Played great defensively," Hyde said. "(Aaron) Hicksie, Santander in right field made some really nice plays. We’ve been playing pretty good defense as of late. Cole was pitching to contact and we played good defense behind him."
  14. Henderson produced his first career three-hit game, Tyler Wells was charged with two runs in 6 2/3 innings, and the Orioles began their homestand with a 3-2 victory over the Royals.
  15. when i am eating and the person across from me spits out tiny pieces of food when he talks while chewing. The pieces usually land in my food.
  16. This is me at my wifes parents house in the philippines which is located in the middle of soggy rice fields. It has a steel roof and bamboo slat siding with bamboo slatted floor in this room while what would be called the living room has a dirt floor. It is so hot and muggy that i dont want to move my body, i am spreading out my body to allow the air to come up under the slatted floor to cool me off, this is at night. At 10:00 AM you have to vacate the home and find a breeze outside or shade as the tin roof will broil you.
  17. To bad for buck showalter, he can never get over the hump to the world series. The yankees, arizona and the orioles. Yankees made the WS after he left, same with Arizona a year after he left and with the orioles he lost in the playoffs to the yankees and royals.
