Mercury Marine achieves electrification milestone as first Avator™ electric outboards now shipping to global customers Download as PDF April 18, 2023 6:00am EDT FOND DU LAC, Wis., April 18, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mercury Marine, a division of Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC), has announced the first group of Avator™ 7.5e electric outboards has shipped to global customers, representing a major milestone in Mercury’s electrification strategy. The 7.5e is the first of Mercury’s five Avator electric propulsion systems to be announced this year. During the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show in January, the company officially launched the 7.5e and displayed concepts of Avator 20e and 35e, both of which will be released later in 2023. Two additional electrification product announcements from Mercury will be made before the end of the year. “This is a historic and exciting day for Mercury Marine as we continue to deliver on our commitment to being the industry leader in both internal combustion products and electric propulsion,” said John Buelow, Mercury Marine president. “We look forward to all our customers around the world having the opportunity to experience Avator and to have the brand be prominently displayed globally.” The award-winning Avator 7.5e electric outboard delivers clean, quiet power with innovative features that make it simple for boaters to enjoy the water. Additionally, the swappable 1kWh lithium-ion battery was developed in partnership with Mastervolt (Navico Group) and engineered exclusively for marine applications. It's a safe, reliable 48V power source that is IP67 rated for water resistance and has a vivid full-color display that tracks battery level and range for confidently exploring the water. Avator is the first propulsion system from Mercury to be compatible with the all-new Mercury Marine app, available for iOS® and Android™ devices. U.S., ANZP, and EMEA customers and distributors will begin receiving the Avator 7.5e over the next few weeks with a steady stream of engines to be shipped throughout the year to all Mercury global customers. Those looking to power their boat with Avator are encouraged to contact their local dealer for more information on shipping dates. I could have gotten out of the car yesterday and grabbed one for ya. Wild turkey are struttin in the neighborhoods here in fargo nd. They are a problem for home owners whom live by the woods and river. I went to the VA yesterday and right outside the VA building which is by the woods a couple were meandering around.- Favorite game meat..
- Pflueger President Parts
I had the same problem but found a pflueger parts store in missouri working out of a bait shop. I now have 4 extra dust caps for the president and the supreme which are interchangable. The president XT is not interchangeable with the previous so i ordered 4 extra caps for the XT. Reason is i switch the handle every hour or so to the other side and the caps strip out the miniscule thread inside and the occasional cold hands i dropped one and it be gone. I carry spares in my box. PM me and i will give you the phone number of the place if you strike out in your search.- Why is this DAIWA reel $109.99 cost more than the Pflueger $69.95. Compare pics and tell me the Daiwa Isnt junk.
Here is a video of a complete teardown of the diawa if anyone interested in watching. https://www.google.com/search?q=FGLT3000c-d+fuego+spinning+reel+tear+down&client=firefox-b-1-d&filter=0&biw=1084&bih=535&dpr=1.09#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:1c5d8223,vid:AmPgjzBygys- Why is this DAIWA reel $109.99 cost more than the Pflueger $69.95. Here is my wifes president which i tore down a couple months ago for a clean and relube. Do you have any pics of the daiwa you can post?- Why is this DAIWA reel $109.99 cost more than the Pflueger $69.95. Compare pics and tell me the Daiwa Isnt junk.
I did some recent research and now know what magseal is all about, also read about the gear size in a review from a saltwater fisherman mentioning them. The body is made of a type of carbon composite. I do like the knob on the handle over the pflueger. I just cant get over how cheap the spool components look. You mention using yours in 2018, maybe since then they cheapened up the components to save money and claim as they do now its about making it lighter. The LT does stand for light and tough they say. I may be wrong about the daiwa, the only way for me to be convinced its a better performing reel for its higher price is to buy one and give it to my wife to use for 3 years and see if she can break it.- Why is this DAIWA reel $109.99 cost more than the Pflueger $69.95. This is my wifes reel, after 3 years of hard use the only thing that has ever broke was the bail spring. I replaced that and nothing else. I did take it apart to the bare bones to give it a clean up and regrease. what is magseal?- The Beer Is Brewing, The Trash Is Flying, and The Race For The Pennant Is On!

Tell me why is the daiwa $40.00 more for what looks like complete garbage than the Pflueger? I own 5 pfluegers and i am pretty sure they beat out many higher priced reels in quality. I Was at fleetfarm and took the pflueger and equivalent daiwa reel apart and compared the structures of the spools inner workings. The daiwa looks to be a low budget save money parts wise reel compared to the pflueger which looks more durable with bigger bearing and higher quality parts holding it together along with the fit and finish the pflueger wins. It really surprises me how so many people i know talk highly of daiwas but lately are bashing pfluegers saying their quality has gone down. This is a shame on daiwa for putting out such a piece of junk and charging $109.00 for a $35.00 reel. Prove me wrong. q- Bought some out in the boonies insurance.
So i finally purchased a compact battery jumper. My big 15 pound battery jumper went bad a few years ago and I know better than to leave home with just a AAA card. Where we fish up at Baldhill dam in north dakota there is zero cell service. Cost me $89.00 at fleetfarm, i bought the 500 amp because my engine is only 1.7 litre and this is rated for large V-8s.- The Beer Is Brewing, The Trash Is Flying, and The Race For The Pennant Is On!

Here is a Kevin Vandam i filed off last year to a bone white. I added a little orange Spike IT for the heck of it. This one catches walleye, smallies, and pike so far.- Chronic Back Pain
I had 2 L5-S1 back surgeries, one in 1990 and again same disc in 1991 because the first dr doing the laminnectamy didnt do a good job and left alot of disk material rubbing the nerve. Back then the first dr didnt want to fuse my disc and i geuss he was afraid to trim the disc to close to the nerve and thats why i still had pain and numbness. The first operation was in New Jersey as i was living in Levitown PA. I went back to the dr in jersey but the insurance company said he didnt want to do a second surgery. So i being from north dakota and now out of work for a year living on workmans comp pay I went to live with my parents in fargo nd. I was turned down by every back surgeon in fargo. I ended up going to the University of Minnesota hospitol 260 miles away to have the surgery as they were the only hospitol willing to take on my redo surgery. The surgeon recommended i stick with the laminectomy and not get a fusion saying i was to young at 31 to lock my back up with fusion. He successfully cleaned the disc and scar tissue off of the nerve and to this day i am doing fine. Now since the 1990"s i have had 8 other joint surgeries including the neck which got fused, 4 shoulder surgeries, 2 elbow, 1 knee. To keep my body limber as i aged i do massive amounts of stretching. My shoulders, my rotator cuffs, neck, upper-lower back, hips, legs, even my jaw. Also strengthing exercises. I have been charting my stretching and strengthing routine every day for the past 5 years. I posted pics of my charts i made, i color code different sections of the body i am working on, i never ever miss a day even on vacations.- Carpenter bees

I was tired of looking at a smithwick jerkbait in its stock color as it looked so fake. I always wanted a frosty clear lure so i took a small file and went to work. Very happy with the outcome. The newly remade smithwick frosty clear i hope to throw when the snow and ice melt in the next 2 weeks.- Hi-Viz Braid
My first year to try out hi vis. Using it to help see my line in the river current. I am curious as to how long 832 stays hi vis yellow.- Winter 2022-23
