  3. my spinnerbait rod if the 7MHF avid and it works just fine IMO. Mike D
  4. The 7 MH is not a crank bait rod, or at least not part of the winch lineup. The only 2 "winch" rods are the 7 M and 76 MH. I had the 7MH rod and it was great for jigs and texas rigs but I would find it to be too stuff for treble hooks IMO. Mike D

I use reaction innovations skinny dippers the most on a 5/0 owner weighted light wire screw lock hook. Another great bait for me has been the gambler flapping shad in 5inch with a 5/0 weighted mustad power lock plus weighted hook. i prefer using weighted hooks so that the bait can run better. I also like the action of roboworm EZ shads with owner beast hook, unfortunately i have yet to hook up with ine yet. Mike D
  6. For hollow belly frogging i use a dobyn's champion 736 with a Revo premiere and 50 lbs spiderwire untracast braid. And it works just fine. Mike D

  8. I have yet to try the original patriarch, but I fell in love the Patriarch XT last summer. I currently have 4 of them and they are phenomenal!! i plan on adding 2X 7.1 Patriarchs to my set this summer (once I free up some money). I also used to be a shimano guy but the pflueger patriarchs are as good as any other reel on the market IMO.... Mike D

  10. X2, so many times I made purchases based on price only to sell it to buy what I really wanted to begin with. Mike D

  16. To two choices for me would be the fenwick elite tech smallmouth 6' 9' medium with an extra fast tip or the st.croix avid 6' 8' medium extra fast. I prefer to have a little bit more power in my rods. Mike D

  21. Team Daiwa TD-Ito (the chameleon color ones) in both spinning and casting paired with Daiwa Compile-X rods (only reason why I did not put down another JDM product like a megabass or evergreen rod is because I do not know enough about them to select one over the other). Mike D Love the looks of those Ito's!!!
