  1. Moving to Orange County from Connecticut, what’s the fishing like there? Don’t give up your spot, but is there bass fishing there? Am I going to have to learn to fish in the ocean?
  2. On a related note, what’s the best jdm site to buy some from?
  3. The JDM Zillion HD? That would be my ideal choice, but it’s a good bit more. The alphas seemed like it would be a step up from an slx, but I guess that doesn’t matter if line capacity is going to be an issue
  4. How does the Alphas compare the the SLX in terms of size? I was thinking of picking up the Alphas 800 to use for chatterbaits, I’ve used an slx and I like the size.
  5. Make sure your flux capacitor is good and you’ll see what happens tomorrow
  6. thats the one https://smile.amazon.com/Daiwa-Gillion-1000H-Right-Handle/dp/B08NP3F5MV/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=3L0WS019BDYO0&keywords=daiwa+zillion&qid=1664139556&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI1LjE0IiwicXNhIjoiNC41MiIsInFzcCI6IjMuMTAifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=daiwa+zillion%2Caps%2C78&sr=8-1
  7. Walmart too, I’ve seen them randomly super cheap on Walmarts website.
  8. the way things are it’s probably cheaper to go buy new fiberboard. I don’t know, but it would probably be easier to send it to The Tackle Trap or DVT and pay for them to fix whatever is wrong
  9. This. @casts_by_fly It shows “Sold by Amazon Japan” so it should be good to go But I mean, $220 is a steal as well
  10. $206 on Amazon.co.jp At that price, Zillion is the answer
  11. Well that’s your problem right there… you’re catching too many fish! Just do what I do and catch one or two. It’s a lot less expensive.
  12. Amazon.co.jp is a little cheaper, but I’ve yet to order anything through there so I can’t speak to reliability or shipping
  13. @Sy_A also Japan Lure Shop and Amazon.co.jp just gotta check around to see who has the best price. But beware using PayPal, @Cbump got charged more than the website showed because PayPal used their own exchange rates.
  14. It depends on the reel AFAIK. But JDM prices are so low that even if you had to buy a 90mm handle you’d still be saving a bunch of money.
  15. I guess I should’ve said broadest, by that I mean they seem to have the most stuff from the most brands. Some other places may have more zoom or rapala specifically, but they have nothing from beast coast or dirty jigs (just examples). I’m not a fan of TW, the whole “your package has shipped” but tracking shows it doesn’t leave the warehouse for 4 more days really rubs me the wrong way. but this isn’t the place to discuss TW’s failures Does buying JDM count as a sale? It should, I’m saying it counts. Amazon Japan has Daiwa Zillion SV TW for $212. Tatula TW80 is $115 and Alphas SV TW 800 is $175 on Japan Lure Shop. I’ve never been more disappointed there’s no money in the budget for a reel or two.
  16. This. It doesn’t matter how good the elite or the MGL are when you can get a zillion for 16 bucks more. EDIT: Sorry Amazon Japan actually has the zillion SV for $212 right now (6:00am EST)
  17. Just like I said….
  18. ??‍♂️ TW has the best selection, that’s it. This has nothing to do with Labor Day but 20% off at Omnia with code Serious20 (Works for Daiwa, not Shimano)
  19. West Melbourne near FIT is what he said. And thank you, I’ll pass along all the info!
  20. Wow, I would’ve been upset too. Can’t beat that price.
  21. My Walmart had these on clearance for $40 a week ago, just FYI
  22. Those that have the JDM Zillion SV, do you think it would be a good Chatterbait reel? $220 is a really good price
