I've snagged them multiple times on accident, but never caught any on purpose

They are really good to eat! I only keep them if they're 9 or 10 inches though because of the bones.

For bluegill I would go live bait. For crappie I would go live minnow or bobby garland.

When I was like 13 or 14 I used some on a shaky head and tore the Spotted bass up! But I've never used them on a drop shot rig.

I've never heard of somone catching a catfish off of topwater. Cool stuff!

I love fishing ponds because you never know what's in there. Usually the best lakes and ponds are the hardest to get to.

A lot of fish will be in that limited cover and structure. Another thing to pay attention to will be what the bottom looks like.

It could been a catfish I've been known to snag a few on cranks every year. Or you might have just forgot to finish putting it on the ring. Who knows??

I'm fishing creeks and ponds mostly. Every once in a while I'll go to the river but I haven't been able to catch squat out there this year which is unusual for me. I did well during June with catfish, but as far as bass goes I've sucked
