Ipods? Yes or no?
I've tried, I get distracted and notice I start humming the music and I've missed fish because I'm not totally concentrated. I say no. Plus I like the solitude especially back in a creek.

water temp question?
Make a mental note that the north-western bays and creeks will warm first with the sun rising from the south-east. I would hit these first and probably be fishing top water in the morning if you see any bait balls surfacing. See where the bait balls are now and work that pattern.

Swimming at Bass Pro Shops
I believe that a "kids will be kids" or "no harm done" attitude about things is a part of the problem. There is a difference between your kids coming home covered in mud after playing with frogs from the local pond... or kids will be kids when they come home with broken bones or bumps and bruises from tackle football with the neighborhood kids... or kids hitting a baseball through the neighbors windows. Malicious behavior "Like this" is totally unacceptable and I think absolutely unrespectful for the fish and should be frowned upon and dealt with. There is a difference between a controlled environment and people getting into the tank and jumping into the tank. You first have to explain and have a "Sit Down" to explain what they did was wrong when they are kids or when they become teens they will act out like in the video. Enough said... My threading is done with my opinion on this topic. And yes, If it was Jessica Biel or anyone other for that matter I would feel the same way. Famous or non-famous, they don't get special treatment in my book.

Nope, I was raised to be respectful. If I wasn't my arse was beat. I think that these types of things tend to happen when parents are not around and do not spend time with their kids. I think almost every weekend when I was growing up I was out with the folks camping, fishing or hunting. And when they weren't around I was out by myself.

what lure for trolling??
Number one rule in fishing... Don't change something that works I've seen too many people change a lure while the one their using is working hehe. I'd start out with the same gameplan from the other outing and change as needed.

day of dinkslaying
Dinks? Where? Perhaps in Texas those are dinks but here in the Land of Lincoln, those are decent fish. Not monsters but decent. I'm envious. I agree... My neck of the woods dinks are like 6-8 inches anything over a pound marks decent

First Outing of the year
Hey everyone. Had my first outing of the year on Sunday. Weather was 40 degrees out, water temp 36-37. Marking bait balls in 30-50 feet of water near ledges and humps. Used 1/4oz dropshot with 4" stickbait and 7" finesse worm and 1/4oz jig. No takers. Was good to get out for a few hours though. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Ive never really fished this early in this water temp...BRRR

They are also used for changing water systems, like going from fresh water lake into salt water. They have one for Puget Sound and Lake Washington in Seattle.

Autographed rod, should I use it?
Actually, fish the hell out of the rod and if you already have a good set-up give one of your old rods to a kid you see at the dock, spread the joy of upgrades!
