RW, I didn't want to get off topic he asked for suggestions and then asked if we had tried a swimming senko (Assuming a GYCB). I just gave him my opinion. Changed my oridinal post about another product.

Nope, GYCB are too fragile for me

I would be throwing a spinnerbait, jig/pig, senko type and finesse worm. Target structure.

I buy my baits on color(look) and action in the water ... has nothing to do with who makes them or endorses them (Professionally), I alays appreciate peoples opinions on here .

RW, had to do some research about a shad kill. Never heard of it but now I know. Well the fish will be targeting the top water to 3-4 feet I would guess. So i would be using a senko, zara spook<<MY ADD and the pointer looks excellent, I would also be throwing some kind of flukie also!

Coeur D'Alene Lake and River, Dworshak Resevoir and Lake Pend Oreille. BTW those Cal fish are PIGS... Good work!!!

My big fish last year was caught in the rain <<Avatar pic. I always get everything ready when I know there is a front coming in.

I always talk with other fisherman before I even wet a line if im around anyone on the bank. Most of the time they are families with kids etc and I usually give them enough space so the kids can have their space... I think as long as you are cordial, "Most" of the time people are pretty cool. You do get those other people who after you catch a fish they will try and throw on your spot. I usaully just throw over the top of them and they get the point. Accuracy, confidence and politeness usually trumps them

Looks like I will be rooming with Fluke. So i've been doing lots of research on the Lake and I think I will ship a lure/bait bag but if someone has a rod or two I could use that would save me some extra cash. If I didn't have my video camera, my gear wouldn't be a problem but I definetly want to get some good video, and the write off is a plus.

jez... Ive been biting my nails after that airline buy.... waiting for someone to say something lol... whatever anyone is up to I just want to have a good week, meet good people, and have a hellava good fishing week. I will already have a light carry on for overnight clothing (bad trips), video camera, and my day clothes... If anyone could support the gear I would be very much oblidged... Ill supply the video Im bringing my Pro-Sumer Canon XL2 and Ill pack the 3X on boat wide angle and 20X zoom Lense for across the lake

I will book the flight on monday only if I I know I have a split room cost and I get picked up at the airport.... I'll bring cash for the room. Im good for it... the wife approved tonight... What do I need to bring? Clothing of course but do I need to bring tackle and gear? I can fly in Nashville on the 4th pretty much anytime of the day but the 5th im looking late arrival 5pm+. Oh ya I can't wait because my other passion is videography so I can't wait to film us catching some pigs! Please let me know!

Hrm... I think I would rather release it unless the fish demolishes the record. Fishing primarily from small john and kayak I think by the time I would get the fish to get weighed it would probably loose weigh from stress etc.
