Co-Angler/ Back seat etiquette
Are you sure? I was thinking being a co in a tournament with a stranger is totally the same thing as two friends in a canoe. Lol Sarcasm btw

Thank you. I’ve had her since august 2020 but still love her. Well my first hull got a crack. That is the new and improved 2023 hull they replaced It with. Here’s the og. I like the black better.

For those that have more handled the 7’1” H. How would you feel about throwing spinnerbait on this rod? I currently use a Falcon Head Turner H F for spinnerbaits. I plan to use this Tat rod for finesse jigs. I currently have a Tat 150hs 7.3 with 15lb fc to swap between them. If the Tat Elite will work for spinnerbaits, I could eliminate the need to be swapping the reel around.

Did y’all get a receipt in the tube with the rod or just printing the order confirmation from email for the rebate? I didn’t get one in the tube.

Any suggestions in the under $150 range? I don’t jb that often. Just a short window in the winter. So don’t need anything that expensive.- Kastking braid line: good or bad?
I try to stick with proven line. Power pro, 832.- Your Starting Lineup

Dang, here I am thinking that’s light! Lol Mine will be here tomorrow! If It works out, it’ll be my 3/8 finesse jig rod. 16lb sunline bms. I have this rod also. It’s the only jerkbait rod I’ve ever used and you’re right. Big time noodle. I just thought that’s the way jb rods were supposed to be since I had no other experience. Makes me want to sell It to try something else. I always prefer more power.- Shimano Metanium Backlash Central
I never had buyer’s remorse. I’m not the OP. I just bumped this old thread.- Shimano Metanium Backlash Central
I just took my new Met out in the yard. Casts like a dream. No issues.- have you ever wondered why?
If it’s bass related three forums I frequent always pop up. I like the members at all of them.- have you ever wondered why?
Any time I want a review on anything - no matter the topic - I Google It and add “forum” To the search. Example: 20 Metanium forum, best cruise line forum That’s where you get the real scoop imo.- Something is wrong with this picture…
Inadvertent striper catch during bass tournament equaled dinner.- New reels
SV is exactly what I’m going with for my unplanned Rod purchases this week, one from midway. I ended up with 3 rods for one reel (Tat 150). I’ll swap the 150 between two rods as their techniques will never be used together. And the SV going on the third.- Your Starting Lineup
How about the week prior on Big O when the MLF tackle warehouse pro tournament was won on jackhammer and 8 of the top 10 threw It exclusively? I tend to believe the elites, fishing a week later of warming waters, were flipping more to spawn/bed fish where the week prior they were still more in prespawn chasing and eating heavily. Edit: I thought you meant the Elites who were doing more pitching. The MLF pro tourney on Big O was absolutely won with jackhammer. I watched every minute of that tournament.- Your Starting Lineup
- a more modern tackle box?
My tackle box is a boat.- Anniversary Gift
Great reels!- Something is wrong with this picture…

I know this is an old thread but I just got this reel. If I buy a $300 plus reel and then have to immediately have It professionally set up and tuned, that’s a problem to me.- Show off your Stuff
First shimano! How would y’all set the internal and external brakes up on this reel for pitching? Also what’s preferred spool tension on these? - St Croix Legend Glass crankbait rod / Daiwa Tatula Elite rods
