Had been on a hunting forum since 2006 with about 35k posts. About 6-8 months ago I just got burned out and stopped going. Changed too much and the people I care to talk to I’m close with off the forum now. Anyway, about a month ago I got a text from a random number I didn’t recognize. It was a screenshot from the forum with people asking what happened to me. I replied to the text, “I died.” The random person replied, “I really hope this is a joke.” ? does he think my ghost was replying?

I spent a lot of money on an a-rig/swim bait rig and haven’t gotten in to either. Just don’t enjoy fishing that way. Honorable mention is deep diving cranks and frogs.

Been fishing Florida saltwater with 10-20lb Braid long before ever getting into bass fishing. Way stronger fish than a black bass ever dreamed of being. NEVER had my line snap because of this.

It casts great. Only fished with It once with Bama rig though. Those are kind of awkward to cast. I’ll say I put way more money in to this reel than It would have cost to just get a lexa or Tranx. And now I’m wishing I had gone low profile for palmability. I do love It though and will probably relegate It to bull red/blue cat/striper use.

When I’m In a tournament, anything 2lb and up gets netted unless it’s skiing in quick and i can flip easier than getting to the net. It’s just a feel thing at the time. Flip the little ones. I think “damage to bass” Is way overblown. These suckers aren’t as fragile as some act.

Wife’s cat! Two reels like that and two rods with Eva handles! Got the rods shrink wrapped. Need to get some knobs still.

Came home to this after Christmas vacation!

Well I could reply but I don’t know much about any of It lol. That’s why I sent my reel and a bag of parts to bulldog!

I got 3rd overall and also 3rd big bass. No joke, this was the big bass top 3: 1. 7.4 2. 7.35 3. 7.34 (me) ?

Got 3rd today. Big was 7.34.

My favorite reel.

100% of the time I throw c-rig, from 3’ to 30’, I use 20lb fc line, 1 oz barrel weight, and Carolina keepers. 1 knot. No beads or other crap.

I have It and it’s a good reel.

When you’re fishing 50000 acre lakes or bigger it’s easy to get away from people.

It was already increasingly hard to catch fish like this before FFS. Has nothing to do with that. You weren’t seeing this happen like It is now before FFS. Most of these fish would have never been caught by anyone anyway. What you mean is that is the way the sport is “supposed to be” TO YOU. It’s no skin off your back if it’s not the way it’s supposed to be to someone else. Josh Jones is a genius for making a killing while the getting is good doing something he loves to do. Better than most poor schmucks working the 9-5 and getting to fish twice a month.

I choose based on the next tournament. I’ll fish a minimum of 22 tournaments this year on 16 different lakes.

Been a while since I posted. Was boatless for a bit but up and running again. November 26 tournament. 3 fish limit. I got 4th.

My zillion tw hd would not make my list for big swim baits at all. I would go Lexa HD or the Tranx 300. Or do what I did, have an Abu Ambassadeur completely customized. That turned out to be really cost ineffective though so I don’t recommend.

What you do would never work with a 10” Worm or creature t-rigged. ? so how does this work when my hook point is embedded in a plastic? I don’t buy this at all.

Won a Mike Iaconelli signed Revo spinning reel. I don’t typically seek out or care about autographs but now that I have It, would you put It away in the box or just use It like any reel? I’m leaning to just using It. I doubt the fact that he’s signed the box makes It worth more but he is a Classic winner…
