Light braided line break strength
What makes the YGK better? Just curious. I’m all about new things if it’s worth It. Which kind do you use?

Do you find a nice rod or reel to be a bigger upgrade?
Try using hooks also.

Favorite 6 inch Texas rigged worm
Senko in baby bass, June bug, green pumpkin, or natural Shad. Weightless. Sometimes a UV Speed Worm. Not sure what length those are though. I don’t t-rig anything else in that size. It’s either smaller creature or big 10”+ worms.

Favorite deep water search baits - > 20'
The only thing I use in water that deep is c-rig or big 10”+ worms. I know, not really a search technique.

When and why would you throw a 4" Senko?
I’ve never used one but just looking at the picture I would use that 4” for wacky around docks, same as I use the zoom finesse worm for. I don’t wacky the 5” or bigger. I like to t-rig those Weightless.

The latest sale thread
I couldn’t resist. Watched a tactical bassin video on toads last night and decided I needed a new reel for toads. Bought that $60 Fuego

VMC Drop Dead Weighted Hook and Toads
I tried weighted hooks once and It was a pain to burn the toad fast enough to keep It working right.

Aldebaran ZPI custom???
Where could one buy an already tricked out reel like this? Not one some random person put parts on.

Help with Daiwa Fuego baitcaster backlash?
This is the answer and we don’t need every single detail of the setup to come to this conclusion. 100% this is the answer. Btw, Alberto knot. Don’t use micro guides.

Do you find a nice rod or reel to be a bigger upgrade?
To answer your question, It depends. For moving baits, the rod (as long as It is right for the technique) isn’t as important. For bottom contact the rod is a much bigger upgrade than the reel. The reel is just something taking up the slack. With that said, there’s something about a sexy reel AND a nice rod.

Senko colors... why so many?
If anyone on here who is a GY senko guy (like me) tries those bulk Bitters and they are just as good, let me know. $35 for 88 seems like a great deal. Ive tried the Yum Dingers and they just aren’t as good.

Why I Love BassResource.com
I love this site because there’s always good discussion going on. I’m on two other forums, one a general fishing forum with a bass section, and one a bass boat forum with occasional fishing talk. On both, there could be days between any real solid bass fishing discussion. Whether it’s gear, techniques, etc. It’s all here, all the time. And if I’m not fishing I want to be talking about It. I especially love looking at people's gear and tackle.

That’s awesome! That’s happened to me before but not on different spots!

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
lucky! The bait monkey visited my kids too. Today my son got a Spro Flappin Frog in killer gill and my daughter got some black grape Zoom finesse worms. ps I’ll be using both ? Just placed a pretty good order on TW that I’ll get pictures up of on the 22nd!

What would you use these rods for?
Well I wish It was a H rather than MH but I picked up a new Fuego for $65 and going to put some 30-50lb braid on It and try to fish horny toads with the casting setup. We will see how It works. What do y’all think? This is exactly what I’m going to use the spinning rod for. Skipping flukes under docks, finesse toads (z-man), heavier drop shots, etc. I already had a spinning setup for that but It was a M Daiwa AirdX rod. I put that reel on this rod. The MH will be better for getting the fish away from the docks. Now I need another reel to put on the M rod. Probably just use 10lb braid on It for backup DS, wacky finesse, Ned, etc.

we all know this person. the FLAKE!
I wasn’t fortunate in that department. Pretty much can’t stand my wife.

Brand loyal with reels?
I’ve never had problems out of any reels. Except old school Round Abus that I fished hard for years. And those were easily fixed. They’re all pretty good these days.

Trigger Happy Grips?
I switch hands when I cast. ?♂️

2023 Lews Elite baitcaster
I’m drooling over the elite and pro.

Brand loyal with reels?
Nope. Have 13 Daiwas, 4 Lews, 1 Abu, 1 Penn. This is just my bass stuff. I have plans for another Daiwa, a Shimano spinning reel, and a Shimano for a BFS setup.

we all know this person. the FLAKE!
Man, 100%. My boy is my partner. I don’t care to go with most anyone else including the wife. Occasionally my daughter comes and I love that too, but my son and I fishing tournaments is the best. He’s 12.

Trigger Happy Grips?
I palm the reel 100% of the time. Never hold the rod by the trigger grip.

What Line Do You Use With Senko's?
To be honest, those look like something I would never throw.

The latest sale thread
They did not. They shipped in a makeshift rectangle cardboard box with no padding/bubble wrap inside to speak of. But the rods are good to go. No damage to the box or them.
