  1. Had that boat and liked it. Top speed about 35mph. Think the TM was 55 lbs. Was marginal to control in windy conditions. Dont remember if there was space for another battery. Almost always windy here.
  2. Love the everything else forum. The humor, concern for members that are experiencing issues in their life. There are many caring people on this site and I am impressed with with so many of yall.
  3. Caught trout on flatfish. Never a bass. Would weight them with a light split shot and fish them deep in mountain lakes dragging on the bottom.
  4. 76 yoa and fish private lakes almost exclusively. Most have no ramps. Fourteen foot fiberglass jon boat with electric motor, battery and equipment. Tilt trailer and replaced bunks with rollers. Also have an electric winch. Back the back wheels to edge of water. push boat out until trailer begins to tilt. Boat slides into water. Load the same way. The bow of the boat causes the trailer to tilt allowing the boat to be pulled on the trailer. The rollers make it easy to load the boat. Works great. I also have 4 wheel drive truck which is a big help. It does make launching at regular ramps slower because you must keep tension on the wench to keep the boat from sliding too fast into the water.
  5. Back in the 70's I fished with a 5 foot 6 inch heddon fiberglass rod. I could sense often when a bass would inhale a lure. Broke my heart when it broke. I have much more expensive rods now, but most don'd compare to the feel I had with that rod. Maybe its the feel of the rod and reel in your hand and how it transmits to your brain that is important. Caught hundreds of fish with that rod😪
  6. They still have a website that looks active.

  10. Glad it turned out well. The signs for heart attacks for women is often different for women than men. One is aching shoulders . My wife had a heart attack 4 years ago and her shoulders hurt. Thankfully she had a friend who was a spokesperson for National heart association and had told her what the symptoms were. We were at a restaurant and she told me she was having a heart attack. She is doing well. Prayers for yall.
