Favorite Spinnerbait Brands, Tips, Tricks, and Trailors
I like the z man sling blade. Just got some 6th sense to try. I usually run them slow enough to make contact with bottom or cover. Rage tails are the main trailer I use.

What's Your Favorite Season for Catching Bass
Do not make me choose between spring and fall. That’s like asking my wife where to go for dinner. I can’t decide.

How did you register your plastic pond boat or electric kayak??
In PA I bought a canoe had to say I bought it at a yard sale with a bill of sale of that. Than go through the titling process. After that I than had to register it powered for an electric TM

Line or equipment?
@bartnc37 I use 823 with Berkeley vanish for a leader. People here will think I am nuts. I do not catch huge bass compared to some here but, I have not lost bass due to line failure. Except before I started using a leader in the rocks and was only using straight braid.

Line or equipment?
So I think gear is superior to line. Drags should be set right and smooth. The right type line and line/leader for the application.

I put lures on sabbatical. Do you?
I do not put baits on sabbatical. I do switch just because I don’t want to be a one trick pony and keep my skills sharp on many skills

Do/should guides actually fish when you pay for a guided fishing trip?
I feel like the guide should help with the pattern. Once he gets you on fish he should be looking for the next best bait for you to throw while giving you prime access to all the spots. His prime goal should be getting you in fish and giving you the best pattern they can. For musky in my opinion him fishing is crucial. He should always being using something different than you. The very small windows or getting a follow earlier in the day to come back to during a prime time help. I’ve had more multi musky days with someone else fishing with me than alone. Now if you are getting lots of follows he should be putting the rod down and suggesting what to change to make them eaters.

Do's and Do not's in tournament fishing?
@Mike L described everything I would want in a co angler. During a tournament or just fishing for fun.

Ike foundation kayak tournament
Is anyone here participating in this event on the Susquehanna? As of now the Harrisburg gauge is 3.3’. Which means you’re better off wading before anything else.

How to put a value on a boat?
@Junk Fisherman yes sir! That’s why you buy a used ones rebel to start on instead of a Harley. Might not have the cool factor but, that harely won’t be cool laid over either.

How to put a value on a boat?
As you’ve said this would be almost a starter boat. Spend a ton of money on the “right” boat could be an issue. If you have never owned a boat the “right” boat could not be the right boat at all. I know my views of what I thought I wanted in a boat to what I learned I wanted are very different. Trackers are not bad boats. If it’s in great shape go with it. You will probably want to upgrade your TM at some point. Again this is a boat for you to learn and take it as that.

Do you bother throwing topwater at all on sunny days, even when there are mixed clouds and sun?
I’ll throw top water day night sunny or cloudy.

I'm losing a lot of fish...any tips?
I set the hook like that fish owes me money. How is your drag set up? To little the rod won’t do the work once hooked to much and the fish will rip a hole it’s its mouth and pull the hook. I try to keep my rod more parallel to the water that rod tip high. It’s just all things to consider. Don’t go and try to rewrite the book. Change one thing at a time and when you start landing more stick with it.

Need Some Help with Boat Selection
@WRB those are made from die cast steel. If he goes that root I would hope the weld shop knows to preheat the material. Most will probably think it is machined steel. Otherwise it will cause embrittlement. This will lead to cracking and failure.

Need Some Help with Boat Selection
I had a tracker 160. Very similar to the grizzle and with the motor and tongue I was at almost 20’. You are correct that those models do not have a swinging off folding tongue. The 15’ G3 tiller boats are at 18.6ft. If they had a foldable tongue that might be an option. Tell your wife,GF, or landlord you need a bigger garage. If you have a wife and a girlfriend you’ll end up living in the garage anyway.

It’s That Time…..
@Spankey I do not mind the river flowing 10’ I just do not want it to go straight up and straight down I’d like it to maintain a higher level. It seems like ever since we had that high water on the river when that hurricane/tropical storm came through the fishing has been tough.

how much did you spend this year on going after mr lmb?
Well I lost a bunch of rod and reel setups and had to replace them. So 1500 there. Than gas for the boat and truck $2500-3000? Not quite sure. I don’t think that’s honestly to bad that most of my expenses are fuel related. I also usually only chase bronze backs. So I’m lumping LMB in there as well.

It’s That Time…..
Yes! Please! I am now well into the no go level for the river. The chance of me damaging equipment right now is very high.

Fishing pressure
What’s un pressured water? I live in PA there is no public waterway here that you don’t rub shoulders on with others. Do quick fast trips every once a while. Do not beat it up over and over again. That area should be good to you for a long time.

First-Time Bass Boat for Fun Fishing and Tournaments
@HawkeyeSmallie it all depends on the boat, motor and trailer Configuration. There is no real solid answer to this. If I had to guess you’d need 20-22’ for a 18’ boat.

Stevia
I went from over 330lbs to 205-210 depending on the day. I am still trying to get to 200 which I have but, I cannot keep up that cut in calories and exercise I need to stay there. I didn’t go on a special diet I still eat whatever I want. I just eat less. I walk anywhere from 4-10 miles a day between work and my dog. Keep track of my activity and watching my intake have been key.

Should I use a leader with braid?
I only use a leader because of rubbing against rocks l. It frays the braid and I have lost fish. in your case I would not worry about a leader.
