What was your best bait for smallies? I seem to get them on the tube.

I saw that big bass inside of Belmont harbor. All those harbors are pretty good for bass fishing. Diversey, Belmont, Dusable, and Burnham. Salmon are coming in right now.

Unsure about Michigan but I’ve seen some monster and I mean monster bass in Lake Michigan downtown Chicago. One was so big I thought it was a carp

This summer has been tough. I had one really good outing this year where I caught 20 fish. Still have all of September left.

Bluebird skies, this one lake I fish I know when the water level is low the fishing is tuff. When I don’t get any hits I t he first hour lmao.

Mac crush is a great reel. I’ve had one for about 4 years, no issues.

I get on YouTube and watch some kayak videos before buying. Maybe even take a ride to your nearest kayak dealer, they have have demos.

Native makes a serious pedal kayak. I think they start at around 2400.00. It depends what you’re looking for. Do you want to pedal or paddle? Maybe a motor? I’m guessing you have a trailer. Maybe a nucanoe frtonier 10 with a trolling motor. It all depends on what you want.

I caught a lot of bass today. I had two spit the hook. I’ve been told never let line get loose lol

Went out for four hours tkday. Caught about 20 bass. Biggest attached. All caught on a wacky worm.

I refuse to pay more than $30 for a bait. I own a few jackhammers and mega bass. I guess I’ll quit my job and start making Swimbaits

I’m in my early 30s. When I was in my 20s I use to be able to fish from sun up to sundown. I noticed now I can go maybe 5 hours at most in this heat . Wonder how long you guys stay on the water? I car top a 65lb kayak so there’s that too.
