  1. I thought deadsticking was thinking it sat for about 15 seconds, i found out that it can even go for a minute, a guy in our club won a tournament with deadsticking a senk for 45 seconds on the outside if the pads and had almost a 20 pound, 1 day sack

I agree with everstarts, They are in the bargain Basement but i can fish all day on them, optima Makes AWESOME EXPENSIVE batteries but they do make some bad batteries, When you let it sit for too long without a charge the Gell Gumms up, and it loses its Power, atleast thats what the guy at Autozone Told Me after we bought a Optima form him and couldnt even Start the Engine or Run the trolling motor on 100%. So he Gave us a full refund plus $50 To go buy 4 New Everstart Batteries, 3 for my Stepdads Boat and 1 for mine.

  7. I would be doing something like that but our computer Did some recovery type thing and all of the Crapp is off it but it cant open up any pictures, files or programs except for the internet.

  9. That smallie is huge, I do it to my friends when i know certian docks hold fish and i tell them i will catch a fish off this dock and i do, they think i am crazy for fishing so much i can point out which docks in my home lake which produce fish and ones that dont.
  10. I use it all times of the year, i just change he baits that i use them with, during the summer a long 8 inch worm is good or a creature bait, winter time if you want to catch fish use a big bulky bait that resembles a forage fish.

I had a fun year, 1 tourny left, and broke personal records, here it goes: 4th place in AOY standings (1 tournament to go) 2nd in rookie of the year so far Clinched JR AOY 3rd place Duck lake/MARCH 4th place/Big Fish Riffe Lake/ June 5th place Jr. Bassmasters State Championship $ made so far: $200 Big LM: 6-13 Record Big SM: 5-8 Record One more tournament to go and i am having a blast, heading out tomoroww to slam some lunker sized smallmouth.
  13. SowBelly, the hunt for the world record largemouth bass. It is an awseome book on haw obsessive the strive is to break the world record. Also The Diary Of a bass pro with Joe thomas was a great book
  14. I have a pair of sospenders, They are great for comfort and when you DO need to wear your life jacket, When fishing a main lake point in 4-5 foot white caps and 40 mile an hour wind, You can easily fish.

  16. What i do is bring along a lighter and then it takes 15 seconds to melt the holes back together and they are as good as new!
  17. Solar bat sunglasses are $66 at BPS, they are awesome.
  18. Timber tiger cranks and Luhr Jensen hot lips are great for getting through brush.
  19. I use a polamar knot for everything.
  20. I try and get my friends into fishing and just go "Fishing", no specific species for them. Just go out with a big rooster tail and fish. Then i switch them over to bass after they realize they fight better.
  21. Make sure to spool up with some braided line, youll need it. To learn how to fish a jig: The post before me give you all you need, except for the time it takes to learn it. If you truly want to fish a jig right, you have to go out 2 or 3 times and fish it ALL Day.
  22. I would give it a 10/10 rating. It is a great book. I went into it knowing that it wasnt really informative, so it was what i expected, awesome. It truly shows the agany and pain, and happiness that pro fishing brings. i would recommend this book to anybody.
  23. See if you can go to your local dealer and test out some props. Usually they have some laying around to test out or you give them collateral such as credit card, etc. until prop is returned. you are right on the rpm to pitch ratio
  24. I didnt get to see that show, but i want to do the growing a bass in a aquarium. I hopefully will be able to do it this winter
