  10. I would go with minn kota anyday, i have an all-terrain motor and it is awesome. i have foot controlled but the hand controlled is just as good. i would highly recommend this motor.
  11. I learned this the hard way, i was fishing a jig and it hit the water with a big splash and it startled the fish that was their and there was a big disturbance in the water, a second later i see a 6 pounder zooming into deeper water. that was in a tournament too!
  12. My dad has a 17 1/2 foot glastron fish and ski and it is easy to fish out of. I have seen some of the new Glastron Fish and ski's and they are made more for fishing but provide ample space for pleasure boating.
  13. Eagle Cuda and hummingbird parana max are both good compact ones, i have a hummingbird 535 an it does not take up much sapace on my 12 footer.
  14. rattle traps and also topwater baits such as a spook and a popper.
  15. Rattle trap, Spook, spinnerbait. I would go with the spook first.
  16. hummingbird fishfinder 535, it is about $135. great fishfinder.
  17. I have never really thought about this even though i use my fishfinder 50%-75% of the time. I usally turn it off when i am fishing 8 feet or shallower since i usually fish clear water neatural lakes. When fishing in stained to muddy water i will leave it on all the time. I dont really think it makes a difference , except when a cold front comes through in the crystal clear waters, then i will turn it off.
  18. I have heard that when the water temp lowers 5+ degrees the fish almost become shocked and become very skittish and will always look at a biat for a long time before eating it.
  19. I bought a Guest opticharge 2 bank onboard charger for $75 at cabelas, it is awesome.
  20. plastic 100%, i like the Yum Craw trailers
  21. I love fishing in the low light hours with a spinnerbait, and buzzbait. Topwater fishing is the funnest in the moring. the strikes are explosive.
  22. I think that fish can be accustomed to same lures and such, but you could still catch them with that lure if you experiment with retrieves. Also i agree that new lures seem to be magical for a while then they come back to the status of an everyday bait, that still catches alot of fish.
  23. Flip a jig or a soft plastic bait such as a creature bait. I prefer to use te sweet beaver when flippin.
  24. how far are you willing to expand, i am in WA. I would love to test your lures out and give some reviews on your lures! Do you need a junior angler?
