  2. Welcome to the forum!! 1= snapping the pole in a downward action with a zara spook and other topwater stickbaits, this creates a side to side action, jus like walking the dog. 2= texas rig, a 1/2 bullet sinker or heavier, and use a soft plastic worm or other kinds of soft plastic baits that do not have too many arms and legs to get hung up on. Throw them into those weeds and the heavy sinker should punch right through it. 3= This is a hard one, i would start by walking around just casting with a spinnerbait and usiing varied retrieves, Also you can do the same thing as #2 and punch through the algae, also i would use a plastic frog.
  3. It is a good deal. Just watch out for unexpected break downs with gamefisher motors. They are one of those motors that are not very reliable. my friend has one and it has been in the shop numerous times.
  4. I did reply but i hit the wrong button, for some reason my home internet has been screwed up. i will send it again.
  5. I have heard it has to do with the amount of sunlight and the way that you look at their eyes. I have never really noticed though?
  6. Use 2x4's as braces, i did and they work great for my mini bass boat. Also use 3/4 inch plywood instead of 1/2 inch.
  7. 12 foot Harbercraft bass boat 5 horse tohatsu 15 mph also: 17 foot Glastron fish and ski 125 mercury 45 mph

  11. I would start an auction for all those baits, i did and it went pretty well.
  12. Great deal, I wish i could have bought it!!! ;D
  13. I have caught fish on tubes and also jerkbaits/ soft jerkbaits in this situation. The fish are alredy spawning in our lakes in WA.

  15. Oh yeah Rual, I know the guy who cuaght that 18 pounder........... ME ;D LOL just kidding... But i really do know him, I went to arizona and at a tackle shop the manager showed me some pictures of him and his 18.3 fish at lake baccarac. The tackle shops are awesome down there compared to our tackle shops. Plus our state record is a measley 11.4 lbs.
  16. Washington Fishing license= 17.50 if i am correct, at only 13 you dont need a license. To the east coast or the South, Washington is like a whole different continent. I asked a guy who was from georgia up here on a salmon fishing trip and i asked him what worked in goergia and he said "Is there even Bass in Washington?". And luckily we have a couple of bass pros to represent us, like Luke Clausen and Jeff Boyer. also we have John Semken who finished 25th in the 01' classic. Also most of residents are from the pacific rim. So i guess it sorta counts.......
  17. I would usually use a fluke, also try different techniques with the spinnerbaits, like a yo-yo technique.
  18. I would also go with the drop off technique, I will usually also swim a jig inbetween stumps and also along weedlines.
  19. Welocme!! ;D You will find everyhting you need here.
  20. I have a humminbird 535 and it is a really good fishfinder for only $160. For $170 you can get their new MATRIX series which are even better, Make sure that you get one with temp. both of these do have temp readings on them.
  21. I would have to say bass cat, I have never ridden in one but have looked it up and it seems to be an awesome boat. I have not had the pleasure to ride in to many high end bass boats, but i have ridden in some pretty new PRO-CRAFT boats and they fish very big, also they have lots of storage, and they are stable in rough water.
  22. Fish up here in WA spawn in about 58-65F degrees.
  23. Rapala makes line especially for cranking, you can get it at BPS.
  24. Jerkbait and a shallow crank are my lures, and i do think that they beome a little more active during a rain.
