I would love it. I fish as a non-boater in my club, but i have a 12 foot aluminium converted bass boat and want to be a boater.
  8. Call Me up Daniel, I'll probably already be out on the water already, see ya at school.
  9. Dick's is 350 miles away and Wal-Mart is 6 miles, though 25 miles is a strictly hunting/fishing store the size of a target store which is called SPORTCO
  10. Glenn has got it covered.
  11. That is some bad luck.
  12. They have the tip on B.A.S.S. hompage in their fishing tips.
  13. I agree with basskid, Also marina's might have info
  14. I think it is way too exspensive. I have a decked out 12' aluminiumand got it for $600 trailer included and bought an old evinrude for $300
  15. JT What i was meaning to say is that most name brand boats that are $5,000 are usually equipped with either really old outboards and electronics and they dont have quality gear on them. At least all of the name brand boats that I have seen are like that if they cost $5,000. sorry about the misunderstanding.
  16. I use a two handed side arm motion most of the time and make your cast smooth and fluent. no jerking.
  17. Find your local bass club and they should be able to help you, also your States BASS federation will also maybe help.
  18. I agree with you skeeter6598
  19. JT, from my experience, I look at used bass boats alot, I always look for boats $7,000 and under since i am planning on saving up money to get to that amount to buy a boat when i am 16 or 17, I have found that most name brands, Triton, Skeeter, Ranger etc. are too exspensive even ones that were made in 85', also they seem to not have as many attributes such as quality trolling motors, electronics etc., But on the other hand you can find a quality fiberglass boat that is not a name brand, such as Cajun, Cobra, Glasstream etc. for $5000 and they are usually customized with good electronics and good trolling motors and have better engines, also they are newer and most of the time they are customized with a good trailer and some other attributes. Thanks, Nick
  20. I live in WA, our bass are goin to be spawning around mid to late april. Which is extremely early. Because we are going to have a drought, and our temperatures are warmer and less rain, no snowpack. So it is warmer up here than alot of other states. right now we are in the pre-spawn period and most of our lakes dont open til April 24
  21. Try and look under rocks on spawning flats
  22. Used and try and find one that fits you. I look at used boats all the time waiting until i can afford one and try and stay away from streamline company boats, most used ones that i have seen do not have as much attributes as some boats that are not as well known.

Talk to your State Federation and see if they can help you.
  24. I have never had problems catching fish with boat traffic. I fish a lake that is accustomed to boat traffic so maybe the fish are used to it.
