  1. Nice fish. Was it an over? I'll be up there the next 3 wknds, haven't been back since the smalljaw.com tournament in Dec.
  2. Haha I had the same problem it was correct until the time changed. I couldn't figure it out either. I did finally get it right but can't remember now how I did it. I will try to hook up the unit when I get home tonight and figure it out. If I remember right I couldn't find it in the manual either.
  3. I'll take a TN River lake any day of the week. They have everything you could possibly want to fish and they are loaded with big bass.

TN RIver is on fire everywhere lots of double digits being caught! I was throwing green pumpkin rage tails because of an article I read that Paul Elias wrote. Everything else is the same minus the 11.8.

They sure do catch fish! Though after thinking about it, I think I could have caught more fish with a spoon.
  6. I love my core 100mg on my original cumara. it looks awesome!

The water was pretty clear around the trace bridge. We fished from there down about 15 miles.

We launched from Waterloo and the only place that we found bait was right there by the bridge next to the ramp.

we fished creek channel ledges and flats in the mid lake area. Finding bait was the key and we only found it in one spot all day where I caught the fish.

The fishing was tough, we didn't have a bite after the sun finally came out. Luckily, no one else had a good day either and my 2 fish for 10# took home the win as well as my 6.13 LM took big bass too! Both fish came on the A-rig w/ rage tail grubs.

They are the best crankbait from fall through the spring.

Thats where I was planning on focusing. Thanks.
  16. Skip Crossville and drive another 30 minutes to Cookeville. There will be more options for hotels and 10x as many places to eat dinner.
  17. Fishing a club tx here next weekend, we're launching from Natchez Trace. Anyone got a report or an idea where to start?
  18. They are the best! I've ordered everything from baits to rods/reels to Trolling motors and electronics, I've never had a problem with them. They ship same day and it always shows up in good condition.
  19. Welcome aboard! I fished normandy a couple weeks ago, theres some good fish in there. Go throw a jerkbait around the standing timber and hold on!
  20. If it was me and I could only use the TM I would buy a 36v maxxum or fortrex just so I knew I had enough power to fish all day long.
  21. I have the same rod, I wouldn't use it as a frog rod. It doesn't have the backbone, IMO its barely a medium rod. It's great for a multi-purpose rod I throw everything on it. You might be able to get away fishing a frog in open water but If your fishing a frog in heavy cover I think you will have problems getting the fish out of it.
  22. That is a very good point, I would gaurantee the cost of living is much less down here. Still moving so far for less money and more work is not worth it to me.
  23. I fished G-ville yesterday, we didn't have a great day. I have had amazing days there and its a great lake, but with the economy the way it is and possible tax hikes, etc I wouldn't take any job that paid less and required more work.

It depends on how deep you want to fish it. If your fishing shallow you can use 1/8oz heads plus the weight of the baits and rig so yeah the 735 will be fine. i was throwing a big 5 arm 1/4oz heads on a flippin stick rated in 1.25 oz and it was fine. I invested in a powell a rig rod now though.
  25. Goose pond is a nice place to stay or you could stay in Scottsboro at one of the hotels there. They are all fisherman friendly.
