Taking my wife doesn't help, usually end up with extra projects. Went in to get a box of laminate flooring (came up two pieces short in one room) instead of one box ended up with enough to finish that room, plus two others and the hallway...... needless to say have several weekends coming up without fishing

I would go with Space Monkeys very versatile baits, can be used on topwater to deep structure and everywhere in between, as for color that would have to go with what works well in your area.

There is no denying his talent, in todays world of electronically controlling voices and instruments a talent like MJ just stands out more. Was never my style of music but musically and performance wise he was one of the best. RIP MJ

The key seems to be to take the tag end after the palomar knot and put it back thru the eye of the hook from top to bottom (as the hook will rest when being used)... I am sure someone will have a better answer but that is what I understand it to be.....

In this day and age getting fingerprinted and a background check is generic. Its absolutely nothing to worry about unless you suspect they may find something, otherwise why worry? My last background check took about a year to complete, fingerprints were the minor portion.

I go fishing to relax, having to think about what I look like is tied to work and some social events. The fish don't care what I look like, and I have never run into anyone at the lake or river who cared, why should I.

After last Tuesday's run in with the teen driver doing $2,400 damage to my Xterra, and the air conditioning going out in my house I get home last night to find the storms that went through my area took out my 50 inch plasma tv. Nothing else in the house was affected, even the Bose and Comcast HD box which were plugged into the same surge (so-called) protector. Haven't been able to get out fishing in over two weeks either, need a change of luck. Going for a new position at my job I would really like to get, great career move. Need to get by this run of bad luck before that process starts....

As a new user of baitcasters centrifugal have been by far better for me. I have tried a mag brake reel and had nothing but issues. Switch to the centrifugal and was making cast of good length with no backlashes straight out of the box. Just set it to 2 pins on, by reading on the site here it seemed to be the most used setting and all was good.

Wow, tough question wifisherman. For me it depends on what I am seeing/feeling while I am at the spot. If I don't get any fish but see good cover or see fish cruising around I will stay there and try different presentations. If I don't see anything positive I will move after about 15-20 minutes.

Got woke up by a neighbor yesterday morning to tell me my Xterra was hit in the parking lot at 3:40 in the morning and the driver drove off. Fortunately he watched were the person went and the van was still there. Gave all the information I had to the cop and he went to there house and found the driver. He was a 17 year old kid driving mom's van. They live in a different court but was parking in ours because he didn't want her to know how late he was coming home. Turns out the registration for the van was revoked due to failure to do emissions test and insurance lapse. They provided an insurance policy number but not sure if its valid yet. He got charged with two things, don't know yet exactly what but will have to appear at his court date. Worse thing is I missed my daughters 5th grade graduation ceremony because of this. Repair estimate stands at $2,400

VAfisherinMD, there is an area of the canal on Mouth of Monocacy road but its not the one everyone is referring to. There is another area off of Martinsburg Road which is about a mile south on Rt. 28. Once you get to the parking lot the canal is directly in front of the parking lot, to get to the discharge either take a right on the canal path and walk for about 3/4 mile there is a sign on a tree and a path down to the river. Or you can walk straight to the river and then turn left. This way you can fish you way up, but be careful if its muddy gets slippery real quick. If you want more better directions to the other parking lot send me a personal message and I will let you know.

Hard to figure out a favorite episode, there have been a lot of good ones. But you got to love the Red Sleigh Down episode..... I have South Park as the theme on my Blackberry Storm, hilarious to see Mr. Hankey show up on the screen when a message comes in. Or when its locked and Officer Barbrady starts "guarding" the town.

Not sure about the allergies themselves but would put a vote to laser surgery to get rid of the contacts/glasses for good. Had mine done 11 1/2 years ago, one of the best things I ever done for myself.

Don't try to turn it on, take the battery out and stick the phone in a bag of rice. Let it there for a day or so. The rice will absorb the water, it its dry turn it on, if it still has some water repeat with fresh rice for another day.
