After I swore to high Heaven in early January that I was done that I was satisfied with what I had.
 

On January 28 I made my first ever visit to a BPS and (luckily only) spent $150 in about an hour and half. It could have been a lot more expensive.
 

Before and after that I bought two new Shimano rods, two baitcasters (BPS and Shimano), a few dozen crankbaits, some spinnerbaits and enough plastics to hike oil prices. This Saturday I may give in to the urge to buy a new spinning reel for my worm and jig rod even though the one I have now is fine...but all this talk of Shimano FJs and CI4s has me dreaming of a slick reel to match the Compre rod I use.
 

I'm not even promising anymore not to give in. I know I'm like a addict surrounded by a mountain of drugs. It's only a matter of time before the inevitable happens.

The bait monkey has made me go completely off the deep end 

 

Sold my champion 682, a cumara, a coalition rod, a ci4 2500, and a daiwa fuego 1000a, Still have a phenix m1 to sell.

 

Picked up a sustain 1000, a ci4 1000, a curado 51e, a core 51, two cumulus rods, and two cumara's, lol.

 

Ive also had numerious TW orders with lots of dropshot goodies, picked up a hawgtech handle for the curado, and got 3 shimano spinning reel covers, and two shimano baitcaster covers. Now i need to pick up 5 rod sleeves and one more cheap baitcaster for frogs....

 

And i have atleast 100 lures going up for sale in the flea market tonight......

To start with I have 6 new St Croix rods that still have tags on them.

Is that bad?

Well I think I'm pretty well set, untill I make my next trip and find there biteing on something I don't have a stock of.....thens it's back to the tackle store.

 

Went to BPS after christmas and picked up an Extreme 7:1 for my frog rod along with some 65# braid and a few assorted baits.

Set up a cheap fiberglass Diawa baitcaster to fish some crankbaits. Next trip fished square bills for an hour with only one bump, switched to a super spot and hooked up two about 2lbs in 10 minutes. This made it necessary to drive to BPS after work to grab a handfull of super spots at the $1.97 Presidents day sale price.

So now I'm set until after the next trip.

bait monkey owns me. Although i buy baits here and there. My jig and spinnerbait making has gotten out of hand. Seriously out of hand. Havent been able to get on safe ice the past 2 winters, so i sit in my garage and organize all my tackle, make jigs and spinnerbaits, go over my Navionics chips while sitting in the boat and look at lakes i might visit in the future. The spring BPS sale will be brutal though. I need another Rage rod, a Hot Foot, Seaguar Red Label, KVD square bills and tons of other baits that i will pry throw once. Its a sickness that we all suffer from. My names Ryne, and im a tackleaholic, boataholic, bassaholic, tackle making aholic, and i neeed help.

The bait monkey was sitting on my shoulders and pulling my ears while I was ordering components last weekend.

 

I got up to take a break and when I got back I found a thank you for a large order to GYCB in my inbox. What a rascal!

Darn Pres Day sale got me this yr! Dobyns Savvy/G3 Revo SX, Veritas/G3 Revo S, Lews Tournmnt Pro(no rod yet), and a craaaap load of lures from BTD.com.

I have a BIG list for this weekend at BPS. Add that to the hundred or so i've already spent. But we get along well.

With the baits I bought this winter, upgraded rods, added a few reels, and an expo this weekend weather permitting, somebody needs to call animal control to get that monkey off my back.

I've got a booth at the Indy Boat, Sport & Travel Show this week and all I'm saying is the wife isn't going to be happy. There is so much tackle porn around there. I'm in heaven.

I fought the bait monkey nearly all winter, but I've dropped over $100 in the past 2 days on stuff I really didn't need. I'm gonna drop more during the bps spring sale as I need a dedicated spinnerbait/jig/crank rod.

Hes got my credit card and is going crazy .. i would post all the stuff buttt it would take awhile.

I have not bought a lure in 7 days 23 hours and 32 seconds but who is counting in any case.

im waiting for my tax refund not going bannanas though lol

Shew! Was just browsing Cabelas.com and had to fight the monkey off with a stick. Some great deals on there right now, but gotta stay strong for tomorrow. 

I have bought no fishing gear besides the 2 dozen minnows I bought to crappie fish last week for almost 2 months now. Really the only reason that has happened is because I've been saving up money for the Expo at the Classic tomorrow

He's killing me. Gander isn't helping, they have a huge selection of Lucky Craft and Spros on clearance that I keep indulging in. Have also begun buying Koppers cranks. The only thing that can stop me from bankrupting myself is spring... Please come quickly warm weather...

The boat monkey just took me for a new set of rims and tires. The bait monkey got a mini fix last week on custom painted crankbaits however I am taking him to BPS next week.
