Crazy Crazy Crazy, Pic Inside

Went fishing, looked down and saw this, immediately started laughing. I was able to separate them and the one being swallowed swam off.....

I was able to revive the ambitious bass after a few attempts, they both almost died.

Talking about biting off more than you can chew. Nice peacock.

Wow....the one on the right looks smaller than the one he's trying to eat.  How could he even think that was a good idea?

I wonder what the odds are of seeing something like that... There's a video on youtoobs of an older guy fishing from a boat and coming across two bass locked up the same way.

I would think it's a rare thing, even so.  Neat!

not so rare i guess. a guy here in pr has a couple pictures of it. they say that happens when two bass attack the same shad.

You know what they say "when you're hungry, you gotta eat"

Pretty amazing.

Thanks for sharing.

Have seen one bass attack another bass as I was reeling in one that I had hooked.

The second bass spit out the one I had on the line and swam away.

The one I caught was OK.

However, your pic takes the cake!

Well... we shouldn't get the question "Do you think this bait is too big?" anymore!!

hahaha, i was thinking the same thing. Nice peacock. Catching a peacock is on my fishing bucket list. Preferably in the amazon on a big wood topwater, but realistically i feel florida is a reasonable dream. Is the fight comparable to a smallie?

That is soooo funny !! haha

I used to try to tell a friend just getting into fishing about the different things I'd do to fool bass into hitting. He said I gave the fish too much credit for intelligence. He used to say "fish are stupid". I guess this proves it.

Diggy, first of all, your avitar freaks me out! Secondly, that is very cool and nice you were able to "de-couple" the fish and get them to swim away, thirdly, your avitar freaks me out!

wow that is some clear water...

I think that answers the question of "Bass getting conditioned or not?" LOL

Good argument for NOT trying to give them mouth to mouth resuscitation.

That's Awesome. Had similar situation working on the border where a 6' indigo snake was trying to eat a 7'6" indigo and had over a foot of him in his stomach.
