I did once. I and my brother-in-law were fishing a submerged boat that had sunk decades before when he tapped me on the shoulder and whispered that there was a huge smallmouth in front of us. I dropped a Senko in front of it and the fish looked at it. The whole time I waited I whispered, "Eat it...eat it"...and then it just hammered the hell out of it.

 

Well, I shouted (roared really) like it was the first fish I ever caught. I don't know why but I guess I just got caught up in the moment.

 

Outside of that, I tend to be pretty Zen the moment I catch a fish.

No way....I will pump my fist, but yelling like Ike is irritating to me!!  Especially when I feel sound can spook fish. 

I have from time to time gotten caught up in the moment and let one fly. Never really do it if there's another boat in sight though.

More often than not, I let out a GIANT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO when the pig I had hooked, gets away.

 

Outside of that, I tend to be pretty Zen the moment I catch a fish.

 

Maybe there's a difference catching a large bag during a classic tournament, but even when I fished bass tournaments, the loudest noise I would make would be the sigh of relief not coming back to the weigh-in skunked!  The only loud comment I have made concerning the loss of a nice one at the boat, .... I can't repeat here.

 

What I meant using the Seahawks' Sherman as an example, was the low class rant  made after the game about another player after his team won. I don't care for spectacles nor unsportsmanlike conduct. To each his own.

Not after I catch one (well, perhaps a quick "Woo Hoo!") but during the fight I've been known to let out a resounding "Aghh!!!! Stay down, stay down!!"

Yeah I only do if it is a big fish, but I will talk to it if it tries to get away for sure

If I'm fishing with a friends then sometimes I do, mostly just to see the other guys reaction. If I am fishing alone then never, well at least that I can remember.

If it's anything like what I did, you'll shake, a lot. Then you'll get a bunch of pictures where you either have a big goofy grin, you look very confused, or like you're having an out of body experience. You'll turn her loose and keep wondering to yourself if that actually just happened or not

 

As for the OP's question, I usually have a celebratory smile and laugh but never any yelling. 

I'm not big into yelling, but then again, I haven't caught any 10 pounders yet. I usually just try to hold back a huge smile. I'm more often by myself anyway, no one to hear me yell I suppose.

I try to scream, but usually find myself too winded from all the break dancing on the front deck. 

I use to, but not anymore. 

The only yelling that might come from our boat is during the battle, for instance during a high jump or when a hog breaks off.

Once the fish is beaten and in hand, it's time for quiet enjoyment, and thinking about what I might've learned from this catch.

I reserve high-fives and accolades for my boat mates, especially novice anglers and youngsters.

Furthermore, if you want to keep your sweet-spot to yourself, you'll want to keep it on the down-low.
