8 inch manns purple worm t rigged no weight. 1985. 10 lb 4oz ....yr before that a 9-4 on a live frog at 9 30 at night .aint caught nothing that big sense then a few 8s lotsa 7s 6s 5s lost count. Tryin to break that state record still aint found a worthy pond to fish needs to be old,and unfished

    I caught a 7.3 largemouth that hit a 2lb largemouth that hit a LC pointer. So technically I caught it on live bait. But it still counts to me!

I've hit the 5lb mark 3 times for smallmouth, once on a chartreuse shad 97mr slender pointer, once on a watermelon gold flake trick worm on a pro slider head, and once on a BDS Zero Lucky Craft crankbait in American Shad.
