Picked up a whopper plopper 90 in blue blood and Spro rat 40 in brown.  Tested them briefly earlier and was very happy with the rat's action.  I wish I had gone up to the 130 on the whopper plopper and gotten a different color.  Blue Blood was fairly translucent, which I'm not a fan of since I typically fish pretty stained water.

d**n it that was you i lost to on there.  My max was 200 but after it started to climb close to 250 I was like nope.  I will just have to consider the XX jerkbait special with the 50 buck coupon I have too.  You should ask them about the warranty on the 110 stick if they will honor it if anything were to happen.

My max was 200 also, but I was also in a bidding war for an X4 Black Elseil. The X4 BE went from $200 to $330 in the last few mins, and there was no way I was gonna pay that. So I just focused on the Oneten stick and got it for $225. You should have seen how big my eyes were when that Black Elseil was $200 with two minutes left... and then disappointment of course

Let me know if you decide not to keep the 110 stick I'll take it off your hands. LOL

My last update I noted that with good behavior I was scheduled to get out before the Spring Sales Events  - that is until I got caught with : "TW's Pros Winter Picks" which was smuggled inside of a cheescake which arrived shipped with a Kansas City postmark ( no doubt a do gooder Ned Rigger trying to help me out ...) I have another week added to my stay here for additional treatment - I hope it goes by fast ...

The rod is a Destroyer Phase 3 Elseil F4-610X which I got from @Dypsis on here.  Going to spool it up with 12# Tatsu and rule the world haha

 

Hi, my name is Nik and I have a tackle addiction. Today I was at a store and didn't buy the thing I wanted because I "don't need it". I feel like I'm making progress. 

Recent haul. Making up for the last two "sober" years where I didn't get anything but the necessities - line, hooks, and weights.

Doing a reorg for a lot of my baits so picked up some new boxes - one of which is a 3700 Bait Coffin that'll store most of my terminal tackle (I might end up with one more). Love that box so far, feels so nice and solid compared to my old beaten up Planos.

Got the Lew's Super Duty 8:1 specifically to handle my topwater/frogging with heavier braid. My Curado and Revo SX don't seem to like it after a long day. Actually almost hit the 'buy' button on a Revo Rocket, but couldn't bring myself to spend that much...luckily

Overall it's about 1/3 of what I have on the list for this season. 1 more reel will be coming soon, 2 rods, jigs, spinnerbaits, a few frogs (if there is anything I don't need more of, its friggin frogs), buzzbaits, and more plastics.

Put in my order for a Curado 70 XG and a Scorpion 70 HG this morning  Hoping the Scorpion gets here before the Classic but I know the Curado won't get here before then. Always wanted to own a Scorpion, excited to finally make it happen.

Lews Speed Spool Tournament Pro G ($160) and a Daiwa Tatula 7'1 MH XF($90).

This year bigger swimbaits are going to be part of my game plan more than ever, so I'm filling in the gaps here and there. Few pick ups from the last week.

 

Also got Mike over at Delaware Valley Tackle going on a custom built Swimbait rod for me. I'll have to put up a pic of that, and the Conquest getting mounted on it, when they make it home. C'mon, Spring!!
