Were these from Ollies?  I have been to both my local Ollies in SE MI (Hall Road and Little Mack) and didn't see any.  Any tips on where to go?

Do not go any further towards central Michigan. Ollies around here are carrying none.

Roseville $5.99 a piece. I must have gotten there at just the right time.

Got bit by the line monkey today ( cousin to the bait monkey). Just showed up in the mail, got a pretty good deal on a 2000yd spool of 20lb. Should be good for a little while now for a lot of my pike rods and flippin and pitchin sticks.

Here is my latest purchase a 1oz spoon in sunfish.  It is a small run of spoons from one of the oldest tackle makers in the country.  When this spoon runs out.  They will introduce another one.  They are only making a couple hundred of each spoon. Even sent a sticker.  For give me in this seems advertisement.  I don’t have a pic withbout the sticker.  I’m hoping mr. Northern or Ms. bass likes it.

Obviously you like that fluoro.  The shop not to far from me carries it.  I’m looking at getting a jig rod shortly.  Any negatives to it you don’t like?

I've bought probably 20 bags of Keitech, 6 ZMan, 2 spools of Nanofil, a 6-6 ML-F Lews Laser SG, Kastking Spartacus Plus, 3 types of Underspin heads...I think that's all in the past couple weeks.

No negatives for me, it’s the best line I’ve used for the setups I use it on. I’ll probably buy some in smaller lb test as well, I like it in 12 and 15 for cranking and some other casting applications and both the 8 and 6lb has been good on my spinning outfits too. I do use braid and mono for some setups but I’ve switched to fluoro for most stuff now.

It was time to restock. So, I gave in and placed an order for Siebert jigs, RES and Black Fat Impacts.

You may not be a salesperson but seeing that sexy color and hearing "small run" is going to force me to make an order lol. I grew up fishing red and whites and my dad still loves them...actually come to think of it you may have just contributed to part of his father's day present haha.

The Monkey, his brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles, and 5th grade teacher got to me this week....

They ganged up on me forcing me to sell my Ascend 128T and buy a Lure 11.5 with the overdrive ...

I wasn’t going to buy another rod and reel. Had fought it hard. But I sold a rod and reel. And the Lew’s Mach II spinning combo was on sale for $120. And I love the Winn grips. So an order was made. Looking forward to throwing finesse baits on the new rig. Should be here by end of week.

Before I got off work tonight, I picked up a 1/2oz black and blue Strike King Hack Attack Heavy Cover Swim jig, a pack of Okeechobee craw Rage Tail structure bugs and my first pack of Rage Menaces green pumpkin. Bugs and Menaces both 4". Cant wait to use them. I'm off Friday, Saturday and Sunday so it shouldn't be long. ?

Grabbed a pack of 5" watermelon red flake Big Bites Cane Thumpers and an albino frog Booyah Pad Crasher before leaving work tonight. Does anyone know where to get the trailer hooks made for hollow body frogs? I need at least one for those short striking bass. ?

I am new to bass fishing. As I read more and more about it, especially different techniques, I find myself buying more and more tackle. In a short time I now have somewhere around 25 bags of different soft plastics plus a bunch of terminal tackle.

My newest purchase arrived today. A 7'6" heavy/fast Fitzgerald Vursa Rod and a Abu Garcia Revo SX reel with Fitzgerald Vursa braid for Carolina rigging and flipping/pitching.

Whoops!

Got some new jig supplies, netbait paca chunk trailers, some rage bugs, sweet beavers, and some d bombs. Went “easy” on the jigs only buying 5 as I plan on giving sieberts a holler soon. Also went for some 7” senkos (man those things are fat haha), some shaky heads, and some more leader material. The monkey has struck again.

Paca Chunk and Craw are my favorite jig trailers.

Evidently May in the disposal business is the busiest month of the year when the weather is nice. I didn't know that last year as it was my 2nd month on this job, plus it rained every day. This year not so much. SO, I have had lots of nice overtime wads of cash to upgrade my tackle without putting a dime on a credit card, or spending any of my "normal" pay. Bonus....a busy week now is 50 hours, where as for the last 20 years on the farm it was 70+, so I get to buy new tackle AND use it now instead of during slow times on the farm.

I have been beating the drum a lot lately for Daiwa upping their budget game on sub $100 rods/reels with Aird X and Fuego rods, as well as the Fuego CT, and Revros spinning reels................BUT, I just had to test the Shimano waters once again to see how their budget stuff compares. So, I got the $69.99 Caenan 151A /Power Pro spool of line special coming from TW, as well as a Shimano  6'10" M/F Exage casting rod to go with it. I have not had a Shimano product in the boat since the end of the 2012 season when I sold off my Citica and Curado E series reels. I have my eyes on Exage spinning rod and 2500 size Sahara for use as  dedicated Neko rig rod as well, but thats for the next order.

Went on a little bit of a shopping spree at Bass Pro with a gift card and then some. Just stocking up on stuff for the summer/fall
