Great to see another King Daddy user! I get a few strange looks throwing mine...it's a good frog.

Is the Kaera a smaller frog or is the King Daddy just that ginormous?

Makes sense then, haha

Keep us posted on this

Grabbed some off colored cranks for this off colored water.  2 more Whopper Ploppers as well, one for my bank kit, and one (Monkey Butt  lol was on sale) to add to the other one on the boat, some swing head jigs, and some plastics.

Looks like Whooper Clobber Style !

Did some night time grocery shopping at Wally World. Had to visit the fishing section as always...lol. picked up another Plano 3600 Prolatch Stowaway box, a pack of 5" watermelon red flake  Yum Dingers, a pack of 6" watermelon red flake Yum lizards, a 1/2oz Ol' Bass Magnum Pop-R and a pack of 1/10oz green pumpkin Z Man Finesse Shroomz Ned Rig heads. The Plano case was alot cheaper than my store has it and the Finesse Shroomz heads were a dollar cheaper as well. We didn't have the Yum Dingers in the color I wanted and we don't carry the Yum lizards for some reason. Hope I get to try them all out soon. ?

After reading an article in the latest edition of the weekly Bass Resource newsletter, I had to get me one. A 1/2oz Johnson Siver Minnow weedless spoon. Hoping to get out today to try it out along with a Ned rig. Never tried either before so just maybe I'll have some better luck on my next outing. ?

Put a 3" grub on the hook of that spoon, and destroy them!

Not sure if I have any regular grubs, I do have some hula grubs. I think they're longer than 3" though. Will those work as well?

Anything, really.  Trim it if you need to.

Hula grub will work without the skirt part just cut it off use the flapping claws.

Just completed my Whopper Plopper Box in a Plano 3771 "Thin" CDS Box.

Sizes 75, 110, 130 - It took some work to get it just right, but all those baits and sizes in this thin box is awesome.

i had one prototype that was given to me from Ned Kahde. Used it at a local lake that has smallmouth and largemouth

Caught a few Small fish on it. Switched over to  a TRD and caught a lot more.

I think the TRD or 1/2 of a zinkerz has a better action.

Personally I feel some of the new Ned Rig baits are made to catch fishermen instead of fish.

@MichaelCopeland My dad loves using those spoons. They really are pretty weedless. He like using a 6" curly tail worm as a trailer and fishing it almost like a frog over thick vegetation.

In order to do that I just need to push the worm over the weedguard pin and then put the hook through the worm kinda like a Texas rig, right?
