Just out of curiosity if you don't mind sharing what are you using other than the shroomz finesse heads? I can't find them anywhere and would really like to try the Ned rig.

Try gopher tackle. :)

Finally got my order from TW.

1 bag of Biospawn Vile Craw

1 bag of Plasma Tail

1 Ish Phat Frog Cali color

Well my birthday is on Friday... I'm planing on spending something like around 300 and 500 on a new spinning reel and a bunch of lucky craft and megabass products..

What does that mean "secondary stability"?

Look up some videos of Chad Hoover in the Ride. Wildy boats typically lock in best when you lean on them. Initially, the move on the centerline. It's how they are able to make a stable hull that also tracks well.

I like Keitechs. Crazy Flappers and Impact Fats. Unfortunately they were out of the Flappers in green pumpkin.

(Thanks Zeth)

Those Impact FATS have been kicking bass for me this spring :Victory:

I've been using them as a chatterbait trailer, haven't had much luck throwing them on their own..... Yet.

Once I got started I couldn't stop

Some goodies from TW arrived today. 3 packs of Z-Drop worms in purple smoke, 3 packs of yum sharpshooters, some drop shot hooks, trebles for my swimbaits, 3 Baby Boo jigs, and I decided to jump on the Ned Rig bandwagon with everyone else.

Shimano Curado I. Picked it up in-store. Added it to my arsenal.

1. Daiwa Zillion TWS + Zillion Rod

2. Revo STX + SC LTB

3. Lews Speed Spool LFS + SC Mojo Bass

4. Curado I + SC LTB

Had the Metanium in my hand. That thing, is just too d**n pretty and light. UGH! Baitmonkey, stay away.

Tallying up all the money I've spent on this boat build project, it wasn't quite as "bargain" biased as I would have liked, but I'm still way out ahead IMO.

Whoa, shocker! Man buys boat, ends up spending way more money on it than expected! Welcome to the fabulous life of boat ownership, where the two happiest days are the day you bought it, and the day you sell it!

Haha right?! Even the little ones do it! Actually it wasn't bad at all though, as long as the total build stays under a grand (I'm probably around 700-750 right now) I'll be happy. All I need is a battery so I'm looking pretty good.

But now I want a new *** MLXF too. Maybe a gift for myself to celebrate not spending too much money on the boat? Lol

I've been buying some discontinued Rebel deep and wee r's. Rebel was one of the first crankbaits I used when I started bass fishing back in '80. The baits I'm most excited about are the three packages of Rebel ringworms new In the package and the naturalized perch and the naturalized double deep. These crankbaits are as close to mint as I've seen.. Enjoy:

I laughed when I got to the Ringworms.

That has got to be the best worst name ever.

My latest tackle buying has consisted of 130 bucks from bps including lucky crafts and megabass. 120 from tackle warhouse a shimano Stradic 1000 155 off the flea market a diawa t3 for 50 bucks that was a score so I'm kind of in a hole right now....

The bait monkey got me again today....

I went in to DSG and used up some coupons....

I picked up a new Minn Kota trolling motor and my first fish finder.  I picked up the Lowrance Elite 3x.  This is the low end model but I figured it would be good enough for what I do.  The last time I looked at a fish finder it looked like this......

This new one will be high tech and confusing as you know what.

TW got me again this time for 50 dollars worth of Dirty Swim Jigs. Got 3 colors in 3 sizes each.

Got a good deal on an Alphas Type R and an orange Pixzilla. The Type R and the new SV are going to have a rumble tomorrow night.

I'm trying to remember that I'm physically impaired and should not be purchasing. So far it's not working. :D
