Still $1.75 at the COSTCO on the south side of Richmond.

Western Suburb of St. Louis MO, we are getting $1.64ish, some places in the metro area are getting 10 - 15 cents cheaper per gallon, especially if you pay cash.

Filled for 2.67 today diesel is 3.45,

I saw $1.75 yesterday on my way to school.

Don't know if anyone watches the WTI, it's been bouncing up and down the last few days, hope that's an attempt to make a bottom.  Don't really care what the price is as long as it's more stable.


The big question is where is this new found wealth going, according to analysts it's being saved or used to pay down credit, they say it has not gone into the general economy.  Case in point may have been the holiday retail sales, not what the street had hoped for.


 


Long Mike made a good point about how low oil can affect the workforce, in Canada that is already happening. Their oil production has been cut and some of their companies have lost 30-40% book value.  Important to us as we buy most of our imported oil from Canada and Canada is the biggest buyer of American imports.


 


WTI 48.69, DOW +190, first up day in the last 6, is it covering short selling for a 3 day weekend or is the bottom near?


My lowest pump price, $2.29.

January 16 it was $.170 in Richmond, Virginia.

 

January 20 the price jumped to $1.75.

 

No idea why.

Went up .10 here yesterday, still $1.86.

Geez, $1.54 that's incredible.. Around $2.05 here, I'm not complaining but a 1.54 is WOW!!

That was with a $.32 a gallon savings from price chopper.

Triple A reports national average at @2.05.

$2.39 at the Fast Trac in Henrietta. I've seen as low as $2.32, but that was cash only.

Finally dropped to $1.84 near us - but only one station,

all the rest are around $1.94 give or take.

 

So nice to fill up my truck and not drop $80+ !!!
