What Is Your Favorite Fishing Tv Show/channel?

I can't stand any of them

I would rather watch super fluke stand in his boat with the wind whipping any day

Than a mainstream corporate bs fluff

30 minutes of BS

15 minutes of commercials

10 minutes of slow motion action of them reeling a fish

And 5 minutes of anything of any actual benifit

Though I like watching bill dance

Check out Scott Martin's youtube page. It's pretty enjoyable, and doesn't seem to have too much product promotion. Plus he has tons of episodes where he challenges well known anglers.

Scott Martin is pretty cool.  I watch some of his videos on YouTube but don't watch his Scott Martin Challenge program much.

I almost forgot - Jarrett Edwards.  He seems humble and nice and his programs are somewhat interesting.

Championship Fishing with Virgil Ward. Watched it every sunday. At the end of the show he'd swim his Scorpion , Beetle Spin...in an aquarium and show us how he worked it. He worked them all the same. Lift and drop. I loved that show .

i miss the ultimate match fishing!

There's a show in that probably 90% of you guys can't get where you live called John Gillespie's Waters and Woods.  He does 52 shows a year, new content every week. He films during the week, generally somewhere in Wisconsin and the show then airs on Saturday. The content is always fresh. He doesn't always show stuff I'm interested in, like now in the winter, the shows are about ice fishing. But as I posted recently, he did a show about brown trout fishing on Lake Michigan. I learned enough to go where he was fishing and got some big browns. A lot of guys get irritated by him because he goes a little nuts when somebody catches a big fish, but it's all in fun and he's a genuinely nice guy. If you are a multi-species angler, it will help you get more fish.

It comes on WFN.  I enjoy watching it.  He does get pretty excited sometimes but I don't really mind that.

There's a new show that started this week on WFN called Honey Hole All Outdoors.  It's come on locally for years here in N. Texas.  It follows the same format, 52 shows a year, one every week.  It's strictly bass fishing on TX lakes.  The host is Bill Wilcox, he used to fish BASS back in the day.  It's one of my favorite fishing shows and I'm happy that they made it off of local tv to a national audience.

I'm not all that into watching TV shows about fishing these days but I do enjoy watching the Scott Martin Challenge, Jarrett Edwards, The Next Bite, The New Fly Fisher and a few others.

I don't need to ever watch John Gillespie or Karl Kolanka.

There are far more interesting fishing channels on youtube than there are on TV. The only thing on TV that I enjoy fishing wise is river monsters. It's more about the enviroment, physical demands, desperation, struggle, etc. than the actual fishing part that appeals to me.

My favorite show is the Scott Martin Challenge

Up here in the NE we have a shown on the local sports station called "Charlie Moore that Mad Fisherman." It is a combination of bass fishing in New England and talk show. He has a new guest with him each episode who generally are Boston Sports Heroes. He is the Boston version of Ike. One of the top 5 people I would love to fish with. He actually fished a nearby lake in an episode and I was trying to figure out where on the lake he was fishing. Check him out on youtube.

MLF, Zona's and whatever else seems to pop up on the outdoor channel lol

I started watching Addictive Fishing and I can't get enough... I've been watching episode after episode on YouTube, it's pretty entertaining...

The Bass Pros, Zonas Awesome Fishing Show, Facts of Fishing, Hook & Look

the Scott Martin challenge is pretty cool.

I think the best one is when he went against Jacob Wheeler. The fish they caught were f*@)ing insane!

"'Lindner's Angling Edge'

X2 - all time favorite fishing show.  Have learned more instructionally from these guys than anyone.  Outside of my dad, #1 person I would spend time in a boat with is Al Lindner.

Joe Bucher smallmouth segments are very good too ~ he'd be #2.

The Bass Pros and MLF.

I really like The Bass Pros. I feel like I learn something every time I watch and I don't feel like they are pitching product.

It's not specifically bass fishing, but I used to love The Spanish Fly.  Jose just seemed so genuine and acted like he wasn't putting on a show at all.  I've still got a lot of them on my DVR.

In Fisherman, Major League Fishing, The Bass Pro's, Hook and Look, FLW Outdoors...hard to pick just one !
