Sir do you know who -THE BAIT MONKEY IS?

What kind of nonsense talk are you speaking?  :Idontknow:

I swore I was not going to buy anything this winter. It's a good thing I didn't swear to God my wife or any other being that has ears and understands English. My dog understands English but he'll never say anything. Does that answer your question?

Well stuff breaks too and wears out.. esp plastics..

I think the only hope is to slow the spending down a bit..

No, the bait monkey is a demon from hell, I have not been able to annihilate him or his brethren in 35 years, many have tried, none have succeeded.

Collecting all the stuff is part of the fun isn't it? At least that's how I'm going to justify this Bullshooter Jr. if I win the bid :)

Between freshwater fishing, inshore and offshore saltwater I have quite a bit of gear.  Not in the market for anything except for replacement or something just on a whim.

'Fishing stuff' is just like 'food'.

Whatever you had yesterday, has no bearing on today's hunger

Lmao no ... I told my self you moved to a new state .. You only need five rods to do all your fishing ... Now im looking at my 8th

Hahahaha, no. It's an endless vicious cycle/bottomless pit of addiction.

X2, I should probably narrow down my fishing but its all so much fun!! Plus I can fish all year long between salt and freshwater.

The actual answer is yes, you don't need much to have "enough". However for a lot of members on this board myself included buying the gear and collecting the gear is just as much fun as actually using it.
