Why, every time I answer a question like this, I go against the common ideas? I have used P-line cxx for forever. Strength to diameter best in the long line of co-poly lines. Breaking strength 35% above posted strength. Very little memory. Comes in whatever color you want. I just like cxx and have never had a reason to change. ( Now for my statement about not agreeing with every one else), I can take your best shots although My ego could be damaged to the point where I head to my man cave and sip copious amounts of very expensive bourbon. That will be your fault.

Nah, I'm with you. CXX gets my copoly money. Hybrid is really stretchy and doesn't float well enough to fish a Sammy. No me gusta.

I like mccoy extra clear. Very limp. Little memory. Strong line and Great knot strength

The more I think about these "which line is best " threads, the more I believe that it's like asking

 

"Which brand of gas and what octane is best to use in my vehicle ?"

 

They all work but everyone has a favorite which often revolves around performance & price.
