What Does Your Lifetime Limit Weigh?

Featured Replies

I figured I'd ask this for fun: what do the five biggest bass that you've ever weighed in during a tournament weigh, as if they were all part of the same bag. Mine would be about 27lbs.

What about your five biggest bass ever? I'm around 30.

I'd like to hear from everyone! I know that some folks that fish big bass factories will be higher, so let us know where you live. I'm in southeastern Pennsylvania.

48lbs thanks to a 13 kicker. I could see where some of these guys would have 55-60 in their best five. I wish.

Not in a tournament, because I have never fished one, but my lifetime bag would be 52lb 2 oz.

Holy Cow! ! !

I guess I should have started thinking about this 30 years ago, because it's way too late for me to dig out all those old tournament records to figure out an exact number.  So many big bass pots, but two do stand out and would have to be included.

July 1994 - 6.47lbs and 6.05lbs in the same bag.  Both largemouth flipping slop/pads with a paddle tailed worm.   Crooked Lake near Delton, Michigan.

Oct. 1998 - 5.75lbs and 5.73lbs in the same bag.  Both smallmouth, first two casts of the day on a Pop-R.  I didn't even have the trolling motor down until the first one was in the box!  Green Lake near Interlochen, Michigan.

I know it would be over 29lbs but less than 30lbs as I can't remember another big bass pot won with a fish over 6lbs.

More important to me was the run of big bass pots I had in 1998.  Besides ending the tournament year with the two smallies stated above, I started the year out winning 9 of the first 11 pots across three different clubs.  I won 13 big bass pots that year out of 24 tournament days.

Not a tourney fisherman.  5 best ever would be around 28 lbs.

Wisconsin 29 pounds for my top 5

I put 27#s in the boat on China Lake, ME back in 2004...i have not weighed a 20# bag since

I had a 7.2 largie in that bag along with two 5+ smallies

Led after day one. On day two i struggled to land a limit. I ended up with a limit of 1-2 lbers. Finished 4th 36lbs...i was less than impressed lol

I don't honestly remember what my 5 biggest fish I weighed in during tournaments weighed. My biggest 5 fish combined would have gone 40lbs 12ozs. My biggest single day limit (other than Mexico), was 30 pounds 2 ounces on a cold February day several years ago in Eastern Kansas.
