Buy some VLO, they are making money hand over fist. The refineries  are a choke point between supply & demand. Plus they have to switch back & forth between summer blend & winter blended g

  • Great, every time they switch over to winter blends, my mpg's go down.

  • Price goes up, mileage goes down. Sounds fair. Hootie

At least you guys get to see gas prices in hi and low 2's... You'd be lucky to see that in Cali... 3.30 a gallon is a great deal!

The October contract should break through $40 this week http://www.cmegroup.com/trading/energy/crude-oil/light-sweet-crude.html

Regular lead-free will drop below $2.00 throughout much of the USA. In other countries, like California, prices may come down a little,

just not as much.

Gas is $1.90/gallon here, Aiken SC. Like I stated in other threads. The producers (Exxon, BP etc) know the market will support $2/gallon, Joe public doesn't watch gas prices like they should, and we will stay right around 2 bucks no matter the prove per barrel, jmo.

Dropped $.04 here today, down to $2.61. Of course I bought gas before it dropped  :cry4: thankfully it was just for the lawnmower though :laugh5:

I've lost more money in stock market this month than I have at the pump.

same here.

Unleaded gas futures have not come down, but the prediction is for a 20 cent drop.  The lack of demand stations are still selling off existing inventory.

Down $.04 more last night to $2.57. Hoping it drops a little more before I hit the road for some night fishing tonight. Boat's below half a tank too so hopefully it will get down considerably more before I fill the ol gal up.

$2.59 this morning. Down 30 cents from one fill-up to the next.

The wti closed up 8% today,41.95. Pump price only indicates what we pay for gas, pretty much all people care about. To know why it varies one has to be aware of gas futures, supply and demand(gloabal)currencie prices and current world events.

$2.36 here today.
