Well since it's a skip and pitch jig.....why not name it the "Hop Scotch jig".

Not putting down the Company. Just stating you jig guys are nuts with all the different designs for so-called different purposes.

Fish a brush jig in rocks for a day... You'll figure out little differences make a HUGE difference in particular situations. (After you get done cussing that is)

might be as tupid question, but how do you tell the difference??

Top one is a football jig- I fish this one in rocks, slowly dragging the bottom

Next one is a swim jig- self explanatory

Next is a round ball/finesse jig/spider jig (name depends on where you are)

Next is a Arkie jig/brush jig/ flipping jig- I like probing brush piles and flipping trees with it.

Bottom is a casting Jig/ Darter jig.

Hope this helps.

The Skipjack

arkie would be good

The point-blank shank jig.

I would call it "looks the same as every other jig". Stupid hook design too.

i have other jigs with that hook design and it is pretty good.  it seems to keep the fish buttoned up well.

If I could pour all my jigs and shakyheads with that Owner hook, I would. It's scary sharp and that bend in the hook pins them very well. My biggest bass of the year last year was on a 5/8oz homemade brush jig with one of those hooks. When you stick one, it's coming to the boat.

I didn't read all of the responses, but how about a stinger jig. That hook reminds me of a scorpion's stinger.
