On to....I would hope and assume Tennessee. There's less for him to destroy there and a QB he really wants. For the love of Pete don't go to Miami. Really felt he knew what he was doing until this past offseason. Perhaps it just needed more time to come to fruition. Going to be interesting to see what new coach comes in and how he handles what Chip left him on offense. 

I think it is a dumb thing that they let a guy become GM and then after one season they boot him out, makes no sense.  He deserved one more season in my opinion.  Also there was apparently some friction when lurie said he was going to take away his GM responsibilities and he basically said ok then, you're out....

If anything i would say he had balls and was doing things like he wanted so while his moves may or may not have worked, we will never really know, not having balls is not a good reason for me.

He was a victim of not being likable..he certainly did his job the first 2 years, then was undercut by management in his choices of players..bradford..murray.

i don't mind the bradford or the murray move actually...maclin and mathis hurt us more than those two.

My point is, you put this guy in control of the team, and the 2 biggest pickups are not what he wanted..then he fails and you release him.

He needed complete control for 3 years, after that if he fails, cut bait.

that i agree with.  From what i read he had that meeting with Lurie after losing to the dreadful deadskins and when was asked about relinquishing control of people he balked and Lurie canned his butt.
